Seemingly hearing the plea to convert our "non-pessimism" about Two World 2 into actual optimism, Topware Interactive has released a new trailer for the game. It's packed with thumping music and positive quotes from the press, and it certainly sets the stage. There's also a moment where an Orc kicks a dude in the face, so that's nice.
We should be getting some hands-on time with the game at E3. Here's hoping that Reality Pump has fleshed out the potential we saw at PAX East.

I bought the first one and enjoyed way more than Oblivion to be honest. The change in universes was great for me, as TES always has a more realistic grungy type of thing going. Two Worlds goes with a more light, high fantasy one. And it looks beautiful. The animations are a bit meh, and the dialog and voice acting get 0 out of 10s (Seriously, they will say "Art though hungry for some cornmeal" in the WORST English accent ever). But the open ended, faster paced gameplay makes up for it. It's a brighter game that Oblivion for sure, although technically, artistically, content wise, and variation wise it is not nearly as good as Oblivion all around. I just enjoy the lighter style of it to Oblivion's more realistic.
It also has a very fun online mode, where you can get a room of a bunch of guys and quest. There's also arenas and stuff. It's very neat.
In the end, if you can find it somewhere for like 5-10 bucks. You pick it up. I bought mine for 20 and don't really regret it at all.
And as for the trailer, looks awesome, but I don't see an orc kicking a dude, I DO see a dude kicking an orc though.

I'm with Eric on this, except I actually really liked how campy it felt. Aside from the rare freezing problems and frame-rate issues, it was pretty solid, and the things the characters would say would sometimes unintentionally leave my friends and I laughing hysterically.
A game like this becomes infinitely more fun when you treat it as a drinking game.

@Eric
I always hate to disagree with opinions because, well, they're opinions. But man, are you nuts?? The CG cutscenes in TW looked so bad, I didn't understand why they didn't just real-time render then (the game engine wasn't bad, except for the NUMEROUS GAME CRASHING BUGS lol). The plot was the epitome of lame. They obviously had a sub $100 budget for voice actors (I refuse to believe the voice actors were anything but high school theater drop outs).
And Oblivion wasn't bright? You sure you aren't thinking of Daggerfall and Morrowind? Because Oblivion was almost too bright and "high fantasy" for my tastes.

Looks real nice. Although I could've done without the crotch-shot of that guy at 0:31.

On a more serious note: the lighting and water look absolutely spectacular in this game. These are two things that may seem small to others, but are huge parts of games for me.

Wasn't there already a trailer for this? It was kinda crap too. This one is awesome though, I love it. Although "intriguing" is a weird quote to put in a trailer like this.

I was really, REALLY hoping that this would be as horrible as the first game, but it looks like it's shaping up to be a lot better, which is a shame... I haven't had so much fun with a game since Two Worlds, mainly just by getting the guy killed and hearing "ALIVE AGAIN!!" when he respawns... The one liners, the horrible animations, the hideous character models, the dreadful voice acting, the fact that it had to stop to load scenery every 2 seconds are all what made Two Worlds so incredibly enjoyable for me, and it is a shame that the sequel will not live up to these low standards...
