WRUP: BBQ weekend edition

Well, I'll be picking up a PS3 this weekend along with 3D Dot Game Heroes, so probably that and maybe I'll finish off Viking so I can give it back to my friend.

I'll mostly be playing Modnation Racers.

Yeah i have to work on Christmas eve till 6 each year. You'd be surprised how many parents do their shopping right at the last minute. We'll still have people coming in at 5:59.

I'm planning on chopping up some green peppers, onions, broccoli, and a pound of legitimately grown angus beef from my local Amish farmers' market to make some bomb-ass shish kobob. Grill on tinfoil on low for 40 minutes and slow marinate with your favorite BBQ or hot sauce. Delicious.

Also hoping to hit level 30 on League of Legends and start up some Mario Galaxy 2.

Mario Galaxy 2. It doesn't blow me away entirely like the original did, probably due to the lack of shock value, but it is great. It's amazingly inventive.

Working on Kingdom Hearts 358/2, and possibly more of the park creator on Skate 3. Other than that, mid-Season 3 of rewatching the entire buffy series. Such a great show, feels good to know it doesn't tank the ending like Lost.

Playing RDR, ModNation Racers, some MAG, and maybe a little Heavy Rain.

Red Dead and some APB Beta here and there.
Oh and Soul Silver.

soul silver for me (again). i'll be breeding and raising my new team to battle helghast102. damn it takes so long, and i've had to go far out of my way to get some of these pokes, but oh god, it's SO worth it.

Red Dead Redemption, I'm in Mexico right now so I imagine I'm getting closer to the ending.

FFIX has been soooo slow to start with, if it weren't for Vivi I would have had no motivation to continue, but he's awesome :D

and im trying to finish up the Kanto Pokédex, 13 left, the Starter evolutions, Weezing, Kangaskhan, Omanyte and Omastar and a few others..
My team is up and ready for the battle with Sly up thar :)

Since I don't have to lug my PS3 around anymore, I'll be catching up on some FFXIII. Probably get back into GTA IV.

I too have got Red Dead Redemption on the 360 and will be playing that.

Although I really want to finish Super Mario Galaxy before I get much further in SMG2.

2Tbsp A1
season salt, pepper, minced garlic, fresh onion, dash of hot sauce to taste.

marinade steak, chicken breast, or pork chops for a few hours.

BBQ over charcoal to desired doneness and enjoy the weekend with a few beers.

I had to delete some saves in DAO in order to start the Darkspawn Chronicles, and my huge amount of saves inspired me to delete them all and playthrough it all again. So i'll probably try to get through that, but I'll probably just get distracted and finish RDR and playthrough Arkham Asylum again.

You will need:

1 Boston Butt -2-3lb Pork Shoulder (You could use Beef as well)
1 Bag of Wood Chips (Mesquite, Hickory, Pecan etc)
1 3lb Bag of Charcoal (use the kind w/ fluid in it)
1 Small Charcoal Grill
6 pack of Beer (your choice) or soda if you are not of age
Seasoned Salt
Garlic Powder
Black Pepper
Barbecue sauce

1. Crack your first drink

2. Prep the Pork by seasoning it with the salt, pepper, and garlic. You can go with a light dusting (like I do) or full coat. Go with your gut, you know what you like. Wash your hands and have a drink.

3. Place 2 cups of the wood chips in a container of water and allow them to soak. Wash your hands and have a drink.

4. Arrange the charcoal in the grill to create a ring (or Halo). Leaving the center open. Place a fireproof bowl (or even one made from aluminum foil) in the center to catch the drippings (will save you cleanup). Light the charcoal and do not cover it. In 10-15 mins the coals will be a hoary white. Wash your hands and finish your drink.

5. Crack your second drink while you wait.

6. Drain some of the wood chips and place them directly on the coals. The chips will begin to smoke. Place the grilling surface back on the grill. Place the meat in the center over your dripping bowl. Cover the grill and open the vents to allow the smoke to escape. Wash your hands and have a drink.

7. Check periodically on the grill to make sure the wood is still smoking. The depending on your chip size it could be 15 minutes, it could be over an hour. Making sure to wash your hands and have a drink when you are done.

8. Don't fiddle with the meat too much, it will cook in about 5 hours. Go watch TV and finish your sixer. You might want to get around to making some sides.

9. After the meat has reached your level of doneness (despite fears, pork can be eaten medium to medium-well so don't worry) remove it from the heat. Chop and serve with you BBQ sauce.

I've been finishing up Assassin's Creed 2, which I should have done months ago. Otherwise I will be working.

I am waiting for No More Heros one, and waiting for Call of Duty Modern Warfare one, both for wii, need to fnish Red Steel one b4 buying the sequal, working on New Super Mario Bros, Working on Super mario galaxy 2, and working on Uncharted Drake's Fortune, with a little Pokemon HeartGold in between don't have an xbox but trying to wait for a cheap one lolz.

Finishing off Assassin's Creed II and a little bit of Uncharted 2 multiplayer.
