You probably don't want to write off Toy Story 3 just because it's a licensed title. We actually had a lot of fun with it and the latest dev diary above shows that Disney and Avalanche are committed to putting out a quality product. It's not simply a slapped together title attempting to cash in on the movie.
There's an actual deep experience here, from the promising platforming shown in the video above, down to the unique character abilities and meticulously recreated environments. And let's not forget that "Toy Box" mode our inner child yearns for.

When I heard the name Avalanche I thought "where have I heard the name of that developer before? For some reason I respect the name". Then I realised I was just thinking of the eco-terrorist group from Final Fantasy VII.
too bad Zurg is only in the ps3 version makes me want to get because of it okay not really i'd rather buy a ps3 for uncharted 1 and 2, MGS4 Little Big Planet mod nation racers god of War III 3d Dot Game heroes ect. Still do want to get this game
I thought the first two (although I can't remember much about the first, just that it was side-scrolling, iirc) were *okay* games, so I'm curious to see if this will be any good.
I remember side-scrolling and top-down RC racing segments where I collected batteries in the first game for Super Nintendo. Never played the second game.
yeah and you know the funny thing about this is that SONY said PS2 was gonna be able to do TS1 visuals, I guess they didnt know how much power they needed in order to run such detailed models....
