As a Ranger fan I'm glad to see Wayne has something to do after he got screwed by the Coyotes bankruptcy fiasco.

I'm pretty sure Gretzky's doing quite well with himself regardless what happens with the Coyotes.

I would love to see a bank statement of his :)

You're 'glad'?

Like he would have been put out on the street, left to fend for himself by resorting to survival tactics to even feed himself.

Give me a break.

I noticed the same thing. Probably is a wireless wii hookup, without the sensor bar, or tv power supply, or any necessary cables...

Of course he can play with no power supply or hook ups, they don't call him the great one for nothing.

I can't wait until this fad is over. Once it dies out it does not need to be ever attempted again unless it can be done like in Minority Report.

It's the new "Tony Hawk's Ride".

Big plastic peripherals that don't add to gameplay are stupid.

You can play it without the peripheral.

Also, this will apparently only be 60 bucks.

Combine that with a holiday in the US on Monday, and you have zero gaming news this weekend.

Are you kidding? It's pretty active for the run-up to E3. LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 3, and Sonic Colors immediately come to mind.

They are confused, they were told they were going to get to play some video games.

Clearly there is only a Wii present, attached to an HD set. Thus the confused looks you are observing.

After years of looking at promotional videogame pics, it's awkward not seeing the children forcing an excited smile on their faces pretending to be playing the game. The smile on the guy comes out creepy in comparison.

Ugh. Why doesn't EA just run a version of their main NHL series there? The motion controls don't mandate them making something completely different.

From the article it says that you can just use the wii/nunchuk alone (without the stick) or just the nunchuk. Also from the screenshot, looks like this will look WAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than any of EA's other sports games efforts. Doesn't look like a port from PS2, looks like they built the art from the ground up and looks closer to how the 360 version looks.

Also they have a deeper Be a Pro mode in this verison, starts from 12 years and goes up to the NHL

After reading your post, I desperately scrolled up, hoping to find some inconsistency that showed the TV was nothing more than just a plastic demo unit, not even a real TV. I even had a witty line picked out, that would have went something along the lines of "More than you know it, man."

Alas, the TV SEEMS real.

Aw, when I saw the title I was hoping for a game based on the classic Paul Newman movie.

"Well, um, icing happen when the puck come down, bang you know, before the other guys you know. Nobody there, you know. My arm go comes up then the game stop then start up."
