PSN's Joe Danger launching (from a ramp) on June 8

The "late May or early June" release date for Hello Games' PSN stunt game Joe Danger has been clarified -- and not just by the fact that there's no "late May" left. The PlayStation Blog has passed along the thrilling news that Joe Danger will be available on PSN on June 8.

What better way to kick off summer than by devising the deadliest trap-filled obstacle courses possible, and then racing against your friends on them in several different game modes? It's probably the most fun you'll have falling off of a motorcycle repeatedly, sometimes into fire or spikes.

I would be sold. In fact, I loved it from the very beginning but they couldnt time it better, right next to another racing make-ur-own-track game (ModNation Racers). And lets be clear, we know the winner between those two.

I might just have to dip. I'm a sucker for PSN-Exclusives... yeah, I'm talking to you PJ.

I thought it was confirmed for XBLA and PC?

"Hello World! It’s exciting to be back on the PlayStation.Blog. It’s even more exciting to be able to announce that Joe Danger, the PS3-exclusive title that allows you to fulfill your daredevil fantasies, will launch on PSN June 8th!"

It hasn't been confirmed, but there's a strong possibility that it will be available for the PC. A 360 version might also happen as they've mentioned making the game available to other platforms, but as of this moment it is a PSN exclusive.

At the right price point, I might just pick this one up.

Price is $14.99

So that'll probably end up being £10 over in the UK. Well, I guess that means I'm In.

Looks like a fun alternative to ModNation Racers if you can make your own tracks. The demo didn't sell me.

Alternatively, the latest OXM says Trails HD will be $7 on sale the week of June 14th for the more hardcore dirt bike racer that owns both consoles.
