Anyone else hoping Transformers: War for Cybertron turns out to be good?

It looks promising!

I had interest in it until I found out it was primarily built for multiplayer.

Now it's just a rental for the campaign.

I am. But I really want to see how well it does upon release before spending my hard earned money. For a Transformers game it looks awesome though.

I'm hoping! Definitely a 'wait for some reviews' kind of buy, but if the buzz turns out to be positive, I'm in.

I can't get anymore games for a while. My wallet has a gun to my head and i think if i put another dollar toward a vg it'll pull the trigger.

My wallet already shot me in the head, and it is threatening not to do the operation to remove the bullet if I spend one more cent on video games until the holidays.

I decided to start buying all the cheap, old $10 - $20 games at gamestop. I just bought The Darkness, it's actually pretty good, so is Timeshift. Every now and then you can find a cheap game that is worth more than you pay.

I find it to be quite the opposite. I didn't buy a single game in May.

But June is looking very promising. Not amazing, but promising.

Eh, I see some potential but not much to really pique my interest. If anything I'll be catching up on May this month.

What a crappy month! My wallet can use the break, though. Plus I still have Modnation Racers, and 3D Dot Game Heroes to play through.

I agree. There needed to be a slow down in games. No summer drought means no time to catch up on the Xmas/Spring releases.

I was really hyped for APB.. Then I played the beta. Makes you think 'Man, I wish the cars handled like GTA 4' which is sad.

Kind of sort of wanting Toy Story. I feel like I have to buy SOMETHING in June and since I'll be coming back from Pixar studios, that seems like the perfect choice.

Haha... so true. The vehicles killed it for me too. The beta was funny because virtually everyone in a car was swerving and crashing into stuff.

Whoa, I didn't know there was a MGS font. Time to add it to my collection!...if I can find it. Hopefully it's on dafont.

And I just saw the Sega games being added on Steam. So I'll be getting a few of those there.

Puzzle Quest 2 probably. Dunno about much else yet. Only thing for sure is Ambitions, but guess that's not a "new" game.

If Transformers: WfC is any where near as good as the Transformers game for PS2 ( http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/ps2/transformers?q=transformers ) then it will be an instant buy for me. I friggin' loved that game.

Also, I bet that Lego Harry Potter will be better than any of the other Harry Potter games made to date. Can't wait for that.

Its good to have a birthday in June :D (Its today, if you're curious and I'm shameless)

Thank you, Spike! :D

I think it'll happen eventually, Konami was probing interest levels at one of their events. With PSP not so popular in North America they would stand to make a lot more money putting it on PS3 too.

Yeah... no, they're not gonna port it. If anything, they will make the PSP-PSN copy playable on PS3s if they are that desperate for cash, but even that is such crazy long shot as to not be worth making an assumption over.

It all really depends on how much art assets are going into the PSP game. If they make the textures detailed enough the first time around, they could probably upscale it to 720p and put it out on the PS3. If they don't, they'd have to re-do a lot of the textures which means time and money, which I'm not sure they'd be willing to spend.

I agree with you though; since the rising/peace walker announcement, all I can say about the franchise is that I'd rather rising was on the PSP, and Peace Walker was on the PS3 (or both on the PS3/360, whatever). I know it's hypocritical of me, since I've been complaining for years about the lack of anything to play on the PSP, but there is no reason why they couldn't have done Peace Walker on the PS3 and then ported it down to the PSP (or PSP2..it could have been a launch game) at a later date.

June looks like a good month to give my finances a break, because from July on out, there is something on my plate every month. Next up, Crackdown 2. I'll spend June with a nightmare playthru of Alan Wake and trying to finally find all those damn secret orbs on the first Crackdown.

Not exactly a list of games I'm personally looking forward to, but I still have a massive back-catalog of older games I either haven't finished or am itching to pick up again, in an ideal world where I don't have to feel like I'm wasting too much of my time.

I'm actually pretty sure Hexyz Force came out in May.

Pretty damn sure.

Actually a lot for me this month. We got...

Disgaea Infinite ($20 for a Disgaea sidestory? Why not!)
Mega Man Zero Collection (If the ports are fine)
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (may wait for this one to drop the price though)
Sin & Punishment 2 (Awww... Hell Yeah)
Trinity Universe (It's going to be sooooo horrible)

Sin and Punishment. I quite liked the original despite its cruelty, and a less-cruel version should sit well.

Though, when I get sick of getting stalked by ghouls or attempting to converse with super mutants I'll go for some Mega Man Zero or Green Day Rock Band next week.
