Very good deals, indeed.

It's a shame Sony hasn't always been this aggressive about the PSP and it's marketing.

"its" is possessive, while "it's" is a contraction.

Europe treats Sony better atm. Plus, they were screwed over and picked on a lot from Sony the last two gens so I say it's about time Europe gets some love.

It's only fair.

If he pirated the humble indie bundle, he probably pirated the psp games.

Cause, as we all know, it wasn't the horrible business decisions or the thin library that was deterrent to the success of the PSP. Oh no.

It was the piracy.

Okay, that's a statement I can respect. Besides the few titles I have on there, none of the others interest me as well.

Your original message made it sound like you were waiting for these games to drop to a low price. Something like $5. Which is absurd.

And everyone assumes that since someone thinks games should be priced absurdly low, because they are too easy or whatever excuse, than they must pirate games.

You must understand the train of thought here.

Also, my comment on pirating PSP games was less of a jab at you and more of a jab at Sony's ridiculous reasoning of why the PSP "failed".

actually piracy had a LOT to do with the PSP's shortcomings... developers don't want to make games for people to steal..considering the PSP is easily the most pirated system i've ever seen it makes complete sense that developers would stay away.. games sold great to a point.. then the rampant piracy began.. bad decisions? thin library? get a clue... the issue was obvious to everyone with half a brain.. google PSP games and see how many sites that come up are legit..

i think if they had lowered the price to $200 and giving you 3 free games (which by the way you should be able to choose from out of a list of games) then i might have considered getting it.

Although with how lousy the PSPgo has been supported with games, and the fact that the games themselves are either the same price, or sometimes higher, than what you would pay in the store for a UMD, would probably still keep me away

This should have happened on the PSP Go launch. I, the early adopting sucker, got stuck with an overpriced piece of hardware with a limited launch library, a crappy Rock Band PSP 'lite' version, and some crappy game demos.

*Sigh*

It happens to a lot of people. I prefer not to be an early adopter of many electronics. They upgrade and go through many changes faster than I can enjoy my caveman features. When the next PSP comes out (not a different model but actual next-gen PSP) it will be tempting not to jump on it though...

And which games you want to finish again. I have a ton of games I'm in the middle of playing, then I fired up Mario 64 on my virtual console to show my nephew.

I think they're trying to get me to quit my job, forget school, and say goodbye to my family.

I bought a PSPGo in a moment of weakness for $100. I'm actually REALLY happy with it except the fact that not all previous PSP games are available for download, and the steep price. I realized I should've just bought a PSP 3000 when I went to buy Dissidia: Final Fantasy. I spent $40 when at the store it's like $15. Never mind the game deserves the $40 price tag...

I'm with you, I would jump on the go ship if I could get an adapter to use my current UMD games with it (and buy new ones for cheap).

All this cause I've seen the Go for 180€ a couple of days ago and got tempted (since the psp-3000 costs 160€ around this parts)...

Its called a PSP genius and its been out for more than 2 years. I dont understand why Nintendo doesnt get any shit when they make 50 thousand types of DSs and yet you poop and squirm your legs when another type of PSP came out... screw all of you stupid little kids, you guys are DUMB, no logic whatsoever. The only logic you guys have is the kind of logic that gets stupid girls killed in those stupid horror movies.

Because arguably Nintendo tends to release versions of their portable console line that have some sort of "improvement" over the previous iteration. At the very least Every version of say the DS that has come out so far still plays DS games .......... where as the GO plays but a portion of the PSP catalog that you have to repurchase if you already own....

On that note I don't really remember people freaking out over the PSP 2k or the 3K when they came out as over all they did offer some palpable improvement over the 1K. Sharper screen, more memory, slimmer form factor, Cheap non auto ejecting UMD drive (cheap UMD drives weren't an improvement) and Still plays all current and future PSP games digital distro or not, The same can not be said for the GO.

Fact is Go doesn't stand on its own merits. What few pluses it has are outweighed by its obvious shortcomings. Again I can easily sight "Doesn't play all PSP games" near the top of that list probably above "comparable battery life to the previous PSP systems". So much for getting more play time by ditching that battery vampire of a UMD drive. The system is interesting on paper but like communism fails in execution.

Until March 31, 2011! Wow, that's awesome. Maybe I'll pick one up next March. By then, I'm sure the Go will have a much nicer price.

This is a pretty nice deal. E3 is almost here and I'm looking forward to seeing what PSP news we get (after I get Resistance 3 news...hopefully).
