If you think Red Dead Redemption's desolate landscape is best explored and conquered with a band of gun-toting ne'er-do-wells at your side, you'll be pleased to note that the free Outlaws to the End DLC pack has roped in an official release date: June 22. It'll toss six online co-op missions (for two to four players) into the sandbox and take your posse uphill, downstream and in-between several shootouts.
You'll need a PSN account or an Xbox Live Gold Membership to partake, of course, but we're assuming most of you have access to such wonderful luxuries. Spare a thought for life in the olden West, where folks had to get by with just 28.8k modems and AOL keywords.

I would prefer if they would patch the controls or maybe the animations. Nothing sucks more than not being able to go through a door because you keep hitting the side of the walls.
The single player controls are good, but for some reason they don't translate well to online.
Rockstar should've copied Uncharted's animations/controls.
But anyways; HURRAY FOR FREE DLC!

Auto aim only works if you have it set to normal. If you change your multiplayer settings to expert people can't auto aim on you.

The auto aim is perfect, clearly you haven't spent much time with the system. It scales to the situation. Larger posses will get zero auto aim assist once engaging a solo player or smaller posse. Depending on how many deaths a user has sequentially the game will lend greater auto aim to said user, from just lock to lock and follow, etc. Not only that but players excessively killing the same user over and over without a death (as goes for larger posses) will experience gun jams/forced early reloads in addition to the lack of auto-aim. I say it is perfect. Keeps trolls from praying on people just there to enjoy the social experience, allows them to fight back.
I was thoroughly surprised at how well Rockstar worked out their god awful gunplay from the previous GTA games.

@Anticrawl, never knew about the scaling, but I can guarantee you that it's not curbing the amount of griefing (or trolling, as you say) taking place. Only a few things one can do when being "griefed:"
1. Kill the guy(/s), and/or try to run away. Usually doesn't work.
2. Kill the guy(/s), and/or try to run to the nearest transport.
3. Exit to outfitter and return to free roam. Usually spawns you somewhere else.
4. Vote to kick the player. I've done this twice, even if the vote doesn't pass, I'm guessing they're notified as they've left both times immediately after.

Wow, really? Like crap? The game looks amazing unless you're watching it on a 1000 inch TV screen.
Some people like to complain about anything i guess.

Doesn't look like crap to me....I'm fact I'd say it looks more than a bit better than GTA4

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised with how well it looked on the PS3.
I was expecting much worse.

You know honest to god I've been to my friends house with my PS3, we had them literally screen next to screen and, flame all you want, I didn't see a damn difference. The only thing I ever noticed is that the lighting on the PS3 seemed a tad bit shinier and there was a cutscene that did look very very slightly smudged on the PS3. All in all it seemed like a trade off :/ Well and that lucky bastard has a donkey/woman for a horse (glitch), lucky bastard -_

Looks very blury on PS3 due to runing in 640p with Quincunx AA and even has some details cut out.
The fault of reused GTA4 engine.

I think the game looks pretty good. I don't doubt that the 360 version prob. looks better, but it def. looks better than GTA4 and it uses the same engine. There's a lot of detail and the draw distance is reeeeediculoussss!!!.. and I've only encountered literally a handful of noticeable glitches.

It's like none of you are smart enough to calibrate the game to your TV settings. Jesus Christ, it's something you should do with every game, regardless if they ask you to or not.

I agree. Just have it deduct money from single player or something. If you can't afford a buy in, you don't play.
