If you think Red Dead Redemption's desolate landscape is best explored and conquered with a band of gun-toting ne'er-do-wells at your side, you'll be pleased to note that the free Outlaws to the End DLC pack has roped in an official release date: June 22. It'll toss six online co-op missions (for two to four players) into the sandbox and take your posse uphill, downstream and in-between several shootouts.
You'll need a PSN account or an Xbox Live Gold Membership to partake, of course, but we're assuming most of you have access to such wonderful luxuries. Spare a thought for life in the olden West, where folks had to get by with just 28.8k modems and AOL keywords.

You would be bitter too if you cared about playing on quality servers/hosts and got shitty service.

And to think that there was a point that Take Two was going to be bought out by EA. EA would probably have their stupid project $15 and give you a few extra hats, and then charge $15 for this.

Freeroam needs to be more like singleplayer with money, shops, skinning animals and some sidequests(preferably free ;D)
Because i think Freeroam feels like a really dumbed down version of the normal SP freeroam and that's why i barely play it, i can do 3 times more things on SP and i don't get any douches killing me all the time just because there isn't anything else to shoot at!
Rest of the game is cool though.

completely agree...the omissions leave Freeroam a barren wasteland, somewhat.

I can't believe Rockstar didn't make a few main towns safezones where you can't fire a gun, instead you can chat like a lobby, and challenge a player to a duel, where the two players would stand in the road and everyone chatting could watch. Hell if they added a little money in you could bet on the victor, or just bet on them relative to experience and come out ahead based on odds or lose experience.

A friend told me them are even adding trophies/Achievements!
First time I see that. Hopefully we'll see some sort of Episodes like with GTA4.

The game needs more multiplayer modes. Free-for-all is lame and defeats the point of posses. Flag and neutral flag are basically the same mode. Team deathmatch is what you expect.
Where's escort the prostitute? Steal the horses? Jailbreak and escort the gang leader?
All those game modes were in GTA4. Why is there no mode defending a train or a stage coach? Where the Most Wanted game mode (someone's most wanted, kill him, your most wanted now)? I could go on but you get the point.

It's funny, I looked at that picture and thought "That looks dangerous". The only thing is that I was referring to them walking in the water, not that they are all toting guns.

I kinda got bored of this game already. Maybe over played it. Just need a change of scenery. I shall try the DLC though.

I'm just glad they look better than last gen. Honestly there's a few bad things i really hate about this gen, and that's games (mostly rushed) with a shitty campaign and some how sold 10 bazillion copies because of "online". Now, don't get me wrong, i like online components too.. and I'm not saying those games don't deserve those sells, sometimes. Its just that I'm also the type of gamer that enjoys a good campaign and so some of these games, pretty much leave a good portion of gamers out. Although, this gen graphics aren't really a seller point for me, I can relate to you on being let down as a consumer/gamer, but I'm also happy to be a gamer this gen. Games like Uncharted2, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Ratchet, Infamous or Red Dead type of games are what make my time and money all worth it in the end. Makes the wallet and my chick a little sad, but its worth it !! :)

Free co-op is great and all but I can't stand the AI in multiplayer. I've lost count over how many times I've been killed by enemies bum rushing me, not caring about cover at all. Or when 15+ enemies constantly hit or kill me while firing from the hip, while moving or running to cover about a quarter of a mile away, when my head is only 10 inches out of cover.
Enemies are way too accurate, and tend not to care about cover at all. And the lack of swimming is also pretty stupid; It's not realistic.
