Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions travels to 2099

And just like that, the third of the four universes in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions has been revealed by All Games Beta. If the headline and the image haven't given it away already, it's Spider-Man 2099, which will now join the Amazing and Noir Spider-Man universes. Fun fact: Spidey 2099 shoots his web from the top of his wrists. Weird.

Though it doesn't feature any 2099-ness, you can find a new trailer featuring the villains of Shattered Dimensions after the break.

What are you guys talking about? A game having anything to do with Marvel 2099 in any way, shape or form is just proof that there is no God.

Gillf, sorry, but Spidey 2099 was awesome, and so was Doom 2099. The rest was take it or leave it, but those two were fantastic. I've give you a moment to go back to re-live your childhood and see how right we are.

First person melee just looks weird.

It weirded me out in God of War III, hopefully it will be used minimally.

(01) from the way it looks, the 1st person stuff in GOW3 is done a hell of a lot better then the way its done here. dont get me wrong it looks like a fairly decent game but that 1st stuff doesnt look that fluid

theres a pre-order (gamestop i think) where you get cosmic spiderman, i would have liked that but i think it fit in with the most normal timeline (red and blue spidey)
any way looks like it will be good.

as cool as that sounds, i highly doubt it. Zombie Spider-Man will want to eat people not amke things right in the universe.

I think the Old Man Logan story arc needs to be made into a game.

The Villains trailer reveals the fourth Spidey because it shows an image of the Ultimate Universe Green Goblin. There you have it Noir, Amazing, Ultimate, and 2099. Too bad Activision abandoned the developers of Web of Shadows for this garbage. I own all of the Spider-man Games from Spider-Man (PS1) to Web of Shadows (360) and Web of Shadows was by-far the best controlling and best use of the universe. I'm really not sure that shoe-horning Spider-Man into an Arkham Asylum Style of play or atmosphere is the right fit for Spidey not to mention the graphics look terrible.

I saw a game play vid with the Noir spidey fighting the Ultimate Universe's Green Goblin so I don't think they really care about staying 100% true to the comics. The fourth spidey is still a mystery. I love mysteries :)

nvm. I think they just completely made up that noir goblin. It looks nothing like the ultimate's goblin. I need to brush up on my spidey comics :/

I agree....to me, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows DS and Web of Shadows 360 were the best games in the Spider-Man series. This looks like they are trying too hard to make it like Batman: AA. That's not a bad game to copy though.

You're right Grey_Ryuk. The ultimate Green Goblin, if I'm not yet again mistaken looks a little like the Savage Dragon. Thank you for the correction. To be honest I'm a little embarrassed. I really look like I don't have a clue about Spider-Man. I must admit that I checked out during the clone saga. I liked Ben Reilly but all the others were awful.

Check out GTTV from a couple weeks ago. That's the Noir universe. They made Goblin bulkier.

This game just went from interesting but boring to absolutely amazing. I was seriously hoping the 2099 franchise would get mixed up in this somehow. I have faith this will be a winner in ways we can't even put into words yet.

Thanks Grey_Ryuk I stand corrected. Unfortunately I still doubt that they can pull this game off to my satisfaction. (I've only been a Spider-Man fan since 1977.)

If tyou think you're going to hate it, you will. I don't think it's going to be amazing, but it looks like it has some potential.

Spider-woman has nothing to do with spiderman. She was a failed super solider project in the same realm as Captain America.

you're both wrong! Man-Spider was the result of, at one time Spider-Man trying to cure himself with his own formula, from dudes in the Savage Land, and from the Avengers Disassembled. Jessica Drew got her powers from her mother being exposed to a HYDRA experiment, and the other Spider-Womans got theirs from not Captain America related stuff

I'd like to see Spider-Girl but I have a feeling we'll see one of the two Ultimate versions.

I'm hopping for Spider Carnage. The series was one of my favorites, how when he went to sleep he would wake up in a alley some were with blood on his hands. It would make for a dark story arc.

It's that or Ben Reilly.

Or my guilty pleasure of liking the Spider Clan series.
