Dear Joystiq...ever since the implementation of your background image all 3 of my computers crawl when browsing your site. I know its my fault for not having the most powerful computer in the world but I shan't be visiting except to check if the image is gone.

Not worried about getting in trouble. Joystiq obviously wants/needs income from ad support. Everyone's just blocking it, which means they lose out on money. I deal with in in support of this great site.

lol, I noticed the background image but I can't figure out what it's advertising. With my window size I only see like 1/2 an inch of image on both sides... and if I want it to go away, I just resize my window to make it go away. I'm justing Chrome with Flash Blocker on a Mac. Before Flash Blocker this site would take forever to load and once in a while freeze up AFTER loading, so now I'm Flash Blocking all my sites.

A website doesn't get money for displaying ads, they get money from people clicking on them. I don't click on web ads so, for me, there's no need to see them.

i like that cover a lot. now i need to pick up a fresh box of adult diapers and finish up the first one- so far it's my favorite Survival/horror game ever- i even enjoy it more than Silent Hill 2 and Resident Evil 4. i really look forward to Dead Space 2- i was just hoping it would make it out in time for christmas :(
