Let's not spoil anything. Instead, let's just say that Square Enix's CGI work for Deus Ex: Human Revolution is really paying off. You should watch the trailer above right now. And then watch it again.
Now that you've done that, we've got some actual news: It looks like Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been confirmed for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The game will be released in 2011, and is now available for pre-order from the usual suspects.

I actually watched it thinking it was for a game, and then by the end figured I was wrong and hadn't heard about the CG movie they were making.
Then I re-read the summary and confirmed that it was a for a game. But it definitely could do well in other media too!

I agree, the music and action scenes come together like an epic movie trailer

LOVED IT. I am a huge fan of dirty, 80's future and space; ala "Blade Runner" and "Alien." I would like to see more games imitate the feel of this trailer and the Mass Effect series. Especially the music! Damn, that trailer was incredible.

I personally think it's not the best trailer ever. It was really awesome, I have no history with Deus Ex, but I got really excited watching this. The music and action scene was awesome.
But as making me want the actual game, this trailer didn't do much. Nothing telling me what the game will play like or anything, so I can't call it the best game trailer ever. I don't even know if it will be a FPS or 3rd person shooter!

I kept expecting the trailer to end, but it kept going. I agree, finally a decent length trailer for a game! And it wasn't just repeating a bunch of features again and again. Although, it didn't really show any "features" at all since there was no gameplay, but still.
Awesome trailer! :)

His name's Adam. They say it a few times in the trailer.
As for the guy behind the wall, I imagined him talking to his four year old daughter on the phone as she was going to bed. "Daddy's gonna come home soon sweetie, I love y--- *ERK!!*"

That trailer was amazing. I've watched it about 7 times now. That stacks up against some of the best movie trailers out there. The voice over, music, look and feel of it all just kept building and is just awesome as a whole.
I'm all hot and bothered!

I wish that was a movie, and it was coming out tonight. Gotta agree with Sofa King. I'd be right there in line.
Sigh. I need a better computer. I don't care what the gameplay is even like. I'll play it for the story and the cut scenes.
