I can understand being cranky about too much Apple guys, but as far as Engadget is concerned, people would go elsewhere if they ignored the WWDC today. If it was a MS event announcing something big I am sure it would be just as annoying. Remember how people were getting mad about all the WP7 articles? I do.

Apparently Jobs never heard about the Ngage. It's impossible to make a phone that doubles as a competitive gaming device. It just doesn't work.

Hello people.

Look at Lair. Now back to me. Now back at Lair. Now back to me.

Sadly, Lair isn't me, but if you stopped using a Sixaxis controller and switched to an iPhone 4, Lair could control like me.

Look down; back up. Where are you? You're on a boat with the phone your game could control like.

What's in your hand? Back at me. It's an oyster with a contract for that company you love.

Look again, the contract is now a brand new phone. Anything is possible when your game controls like an iPhone 4 and not Lair.

I'm on a horse.

Sure, it's a nice revision -- I really like the 960x640 display and the metal frame is cool. Just don't go calling it magical or revolutionary.

Sounds pretty cool. Hopefully it makes motion control a bit more precise. However it won't work for me. I already can't use accelerometer based games when riding the subway. So an extra precise gyroscope will probably just make things worse.

Apple releases an iPhone every year.

HTC releases six Android phones in 2010 alone, for example.

I don't see the big deal with everyone complaining about Apple upgrades. Their competitors releases infinitely more competing products in same time frame.
