If the overall design didn't look so clunky and awkward I MIGHT have considered getting one. The fret buttons being connected to the main body of electronics directly is a much needed improvement over their previous model of having the neck detach.

This will hopefully help avoid issues where the buttons stop being detected after a while as the connections from neck to body give out. Though again, the overall design looks mighty uncomfortable to actually play.

Those look terrible.
I'll just keep to my Fender Strat.

I kind of like the new designs. Gotta give 'em credit for trying something new. Too bad I hate raised frets and clicky strum bars. I'll stick with my RB guitars, thank you.

is the exclusive guitar only with a preorder of the full kit, or is it a preorder of just the game.

Just another gimmick from GH and Activision. Just like the "special" powers given to each character in the game, and the "special" transformations for the characters. These introduce nothing new at all to make the game better. And of the 19 songs released so far, only about 5 of them even somewhat get my attention. 1 out of every 4 songs, which i guess is better compared to usual when it's about 7 songs out of 70. And for those that will say RB hasn't realesed theirs yet, guess what, it doesn't matter, cause with the great weekly DLC offerings, I probably have enough DLC to fill up 2 games worth of music. That's one of the many reasons why Harmonix and RB are so much better than Activision and GH.

I don't care about the next Guitar Hero one way or the other but I really do dig the controller idea and the designs look sweet.
