The DSi was always very clearly a buffer from the DS to the 3DS and it was just to tamp down on any PSP gains. It succeeded in that respect.

I'm sure IF Nintendo wants anything like the App store that they will do it right. Until recently they kept saying that Apple was no threat and a totally different market. If I recall correctly, they changed that stance so I'd suspect something more serious coming from them in the future.

They just better allow infinite downloads to your device and easy transfers to new hardware. They already allow you register serials at their site so I can't imagine it being that difficult to monitor.

Hopefully a new system will come with accounts so you can transfer accounts to new hardware and such.

I just wish they'd do their experiments properly, and designate a portion of the population as a control group, giving them a console that doesn't suck ass.

either that or they will utilize the power of 3D to replace friend codes with more engaging "friend cubes" in which each user will have a specific rubik's cube layout assigned to them. in order to add someone you must replicate this layout.

it will still be marginally less cumbersome than friend codes

Speaking of Mega Man I found a live action Mega Man movie. So bad it's good!

I am glad that Capcom is finally excited about something that nintendo makes cause I am still angry about their lack of third party support for the wii.

I was seriously was expecting to be capping Zombies on RE5 wii by now.

Its not that MH3 (repetitive collecting game) and TvsC (Fighting game) was bad but they really are not my style of games that I like to play.

I knew Capcom as more of an action game developer in NES era and SNES too, but most of their games on the wii are unappealing to me unless they are downloadable.

They may be "infected", but they are still voodoo root zombies.

Read or watch Serpent And The Rainbow. Originally zombies could be brought back from the dead by a sorcerer OR utilizing a combination of puffer fish poison and dissociative drugs. The archetype of zombies we know today was greatly due to George Romero. A zombie can be undead or simply a mindless human being.

Doubtless it's going to play host to a new network system of some kind. It's basically Nintendo's only chance to fix up their online act properly between now and 2016 or so.

As long as there is still an option for physical media.

I'm still not a huge fan of digital distro but run it well and not into the ground and we will see if you can make me into a convert. Doubtful but hell I have like 10 steam games..... then again you could compare that to the hundreds of physical games I own and the multiple systems that accompany them, your going to have to try hard.

The problem with the app store is that there are 200,000 games, and not one of them is up to the standard of a DS game like TWEWY or Pokemon or Bowser's Inside Story. And the 3DS is meant to be a step forward.

Please, for the love of god Nintendo, you've learned about the evils of shovelware. Don't make the same mistake Apple did (and instead learn from Valve).

Also, if you want to destroy Sony in the PAL regions, give region free Digital Distribution a shot. We love that kind of shit.

I guess there's still going to be quality control. Right now all I'm hearing about DSiWare are good games.

My question is this: What does this digital distribution service entail? Does it entail catalog games from the DS, GBA, GBC, and GB? Does it entail other catalog handheld games from the Game Gear, Lynx, etc.?

And has Nintendo figured out that 512 MB just will NEVER be enough for just about everyone? Has Nintendo figured out its piracy problems by creating a fully digital solution for every catalog DS title to be on the 3DS as well and in as many other players' hands as possible?

Seriously, Nintendo has 2 hrs to answer all our questions, and they had best answer them fully and to the best of their ability. I'm willing to buy one, but the difference between buying a 3DS on Day One and buying a 3DS later on is quite minute, and will depend entirely on what Nintendo says at their E3 presser.
