Nintendo is anti-Free DLC. VERY RARELY will you see free DLC on the Wii(The only free songs on any of the music games are the 20 free songs from RB2.)

So unfortunately this time around it is on Nintendo and Activision is safe.

How is Nintendo anti-free DLC? Have they said this? Where is it documented that this falls on Nintendo and not Activision?

There has been quite a bit of free DLC on the Wii. Not just the 20 RB2 songs...GH had a few free songs for download on Wii, the same that were on 360 and PS3. They offered free WiiWare demos. There are all of the channels, which isn't really what you think of when you think of DLC, but they are free content that is downloadable.

I don't know why Activision couldn't do this for DJ Hero when they did it several times for GH on Wii.

Luke is right. Guitar Hero World Tour had some free DLC (the two Bruce Springsteen songs that were free for a week come to mind). It just baffles me that Activision in-particular decided to stop releasing any free DLC on the Wii with the release of Guitar Hero 5. The free DLC packs and the christmas song by Steve Ouimette were not released on the Wii at all. I was freaking pissed.

I know I'm probably gonna be the alone on this but, I'd pay for some Baltimore Club DLC...

very cool. i like lady gaga, she's not a complete airhead in interviews, she kinda reminds me of a very sophisticated and thoughtful gwen stefani. doesn't hurt that i just got into DJ hero a month ago. get it used and give it a try, kids.

One Deadmau5 mix is worth the $500 price tag of owning DJ Hero

This is the sad fact- a gaming company spending lots of hard earned cash, earned from relatively good money making games, on money pit baseless sequels.

they have some potential to improve the formula. i don't know what they can do exactly, but it seems like they really reached the ceiling on DJ hero's fun factor. it will probably have to get a killer soundtrack to even get me involved.

Let me tell you. Ever since that game came out, I get requested to bring it to EVERY houseparty that I attend. My friends use that as the music for the party. Whenever I show up, there is always a second table and someone who wants to battle. It's crazy, I know.

I welcome the sequel, and any DLC that may spawn from it.

For that price people should just go buy a real turntable and some vinyl

Activision really needs to step it up. DJ Battles are an obvious MP that should have been in the first one. Then they should have just supported it with DLC. Oh well. Nothing new.

More importantly...will I have to buy a new turntable?! I'm gonna be pissed if my renegade table is worthless for the sequel!

When I first had the turntable in my hands, it was obvious to me that they intended to add another turntable in the future. The port on the left side was a giveaway. Surely they didn't intend it for lefties alone...knowing Activision, I knew they wanted you to buy another turntable for the sequel.

what the game needs its more sound diversity, not just electro and hip-hop stuff, a little dubstep, drum n bass dance, house maybe techno ,or even trance (progressive would be asking too much) would be awesome to see that.

btw, deadmau5 mix!, that totally bought me, seriosly if you can you should check him out, hes been implementing new ways to do music, electronic music

Downloaded the mix and it's pretty awesome. Wasn't sure how the combo of Deadmau5 and Lady Gaga would work, but it works!

I hope there is more Noisia on DJH2 and maybe some Hybrid
