I'm still waiting on Nintendo to release their "cash money" color. Letting all DS owners know how they cashin' out on all us fools

...that color looks good too though.

Uh, how about some games? Seriously I've been playing my PSP way more than my DS anymore. The PSP!

Nintendo has made the biggest farce about the DSi. I mean, it's brilliant how they executed it because they hardly get any flack for it but the fact remains that there are very few DSi games. Plenty of DS games but hardly that many that actually take "advantage" of the "upgraded" hardware. Which I always said from day one was more about media than games.

Sure, this has something to do with the 3Ds on its way but Nintendo knew that when the released the DSi, let alone the XL. Just kind of humorous to me.

That said, after playing the XL in person, it is pretty damn cool. The screens are beautiful. I might end up getting one despite everything. When the price drops though.

I actually like that color quite a bit. And, if on a 3DS, I'll be waiting in line for one.

Best color I have seen to date. If 3DS has this color, day one purchase. Who am I kidding? It's a day one purchase with even the ugliest color.

I'd end up putting some sort of cover on it anyway. I enjoy the for my DS lite. Better grip and good protection for the outside.

I'll pick one up after Nintendo shifts its focus to the 3DS and the price drops to fifty bucks.

Like the color!

Though, a bit of a hard sell for me. On one hand I already have a DSi with non-transferrable content. And on the other hand I have a broken iPod and a severe lack of PSP.

Where to put my money? hmm...

I may totally pick one of these up once the price drops. Of course, if the 3DS is launched with a nice blue option, then I'll just get that instead. Kinda surprising how rare blue Nintendo handhelds have been.

There was the Electric Blue DS Phat, Blue&Black DS Lite, Light Blue DSi and now this one.

What more do you want?

The Electric Blue DS Phat has rumors (or it was fact) that the screens were slightly tinted blue, so I stayed away from that.

I didn't get the blue/black DS Lite because I already owned a black DS lite.

I just plain don't like the shade of blue of the DSi model.

And now there's this one. This one is awesome, and I don't own a XL yet.

The electric blue DS was awesome and had no such tinting issue that I ever noticed. It was my DS of choice until I finally upgraded to a (sadly) monochromatic DSi earlier this year. Guess I should have waited a little longer for this XL.

Dammit, I said I'd get a DSi XL if they made a blue one... and then they go make one for Japan, and now announce it for US.

Interesting that it's black on the "rim" of the system. This is true for the JP model, too.

Nintendo DSi XL is the latest iteration of Nintendo's top-selling family of hand-held game systems. In addition to its two built-in cameras and photo- and sound-manipulation functions, Nintendo DSi XL offers two screens that are 93 percent larger than those on the Nintendo DS Lite system.
