The episodic adventure aces at Telltale Games have set sail from Monkey Island and are soon to arrive at Jurassic Park, Game Informer reports. According to the magazine, Telltale has struck a deal with NBC Universal to develop games based on the media giant's properties, with the Michael Crichton created "dinosaurs in modern day" franchise being the first to get the interactive treatment.
The Jurassic Park games will make up one "season," which has -- as GI points out -- historically meant as many as six monthly "episodes" where series such as Sam & Max, Wallace & Gromit and Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People were concerned. No word on a platform or platforms, but it has been confirmed that what Telltale boss Dan Connors calls "the ultimate cinematic adventure" will be uncaged before the year is out.

I wonder if "cinematic adventure" translates as "FMV's".

Eventually you do plan to have dinosaurs in your episodic dinosaur game yes?
And now I'm in the Joystiq comments section by myself, talking to myself.

I'd like to see a Heroes game by Telltale, but, you know, not having been written by the guys who wrote the last 2 seasons of the show.

Let it die as gracefully as it can, Gibbey. They're already trying to wrap the loose ends with a 2 hour special: don't rape the Heroes corpse more than it already has been.

Finally. I've been waiting for 15 years for a new Sega CD game!

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a raptor.

Screw Jurassic Park, they need to team up with Atari and make new games based on Humongous Entertainment's old franchises: Pajama Sam, Putt Putt, Fatty Bear, Freddi Fish, and Spy Fox. I'd kill for a new Pajama Sam, especially if they get Pamela Adlon to do Sams voice again.

Starring doctors Grant and/or Malcolm or I just don't care. (And don't forget the jaunty neckerchief.)

So, how much of this game is going to be finding safe buildings to hide from velociraptors?

Was the PlayStation one the same as on Saturn (The Lost World movie game)? If so, that game was boss. Playing as the Compy/Raptor/T-Rex/Soldier/Survivor, had like 40 levels too . . . good times.
Fond memories of Trespasser too. Not the greatest game, but it was really immersive, and I could get sucked into it for hours.

The Ps1 game I was thinkin of was 2.5D, like it was 3D but it was a sidescrolling platformer. And yeah the ame was broken up into like 3 sections, one where you played as a trex, one as a human, and one as a small dino. Maybe there was a section where you played as a raptor too, don't remember.
Never got to play Trespasser. Looked interesting. Remember seeing pics of the lifebar on the chick's boob, was like "sweet." I was like 10.
