Blah, I think I might buckle this evening, I wonder if Gamestop still has the double trade-in thing going. At the start of episode 5 of Alan Wake, still have Uncharted 2 which I haven't touch, but this is calling my name.

Few of my friends were doing multiplayer last night, said it was real fun.

50% extra trade in bonus at GS right now. Your friends are correct. Both the single player and multiplayer are superb!

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I finally got so fed up with this game last night that I'm shelving it for good. There's no one reason, just tons of little things that finally got to me. It's not a bad game, but it's far from perfect.

Agreed. I thought this was just going to be another GTA where I skip the cut scenes, but I actually became interested in the story. I implore those that are currently Red Deadless to correct the error in their ways immediatlly!

@ Dr.

You can't complain about getting fed up with games when you have an E.T. from the Atari 2600 as your avatar.

I love this game. There's nothing cooler than riding a horse in the open west and shooting coyotes. Well, except the rest of the stuff you can do in the game.

This year is going to be insanely scattershot come GotY time.

uh no, Fallout New Vegas is just a glorified Fallout 3 mod. seriously, i was so friggen pumped for New Vegas at one point but those screenshots... they even reuse player/npc outfits!

the people's faces are all the same generic faces from F3! all the girls look like Moira!

Taking Bethesda's SDK (granted its very well made and easy-ish to use) and making a new Fallout game with it using the SAME resources from Fallout 3 is just lazy.

i'm bummed to say i'll be passing on this one.

Rather have more of this genre style than GTA IV's theme... but it seems like we live in a world where we can have both. Hope the series keeps going (and continues to increase its story-telling).

Some great touches. One mini-mission tasked me with convincing a man's wife to return to him. On a whim, I attempted to lassoo and hogtie her, then carry her back to him. Mission complete. BOOM.

Great game. However, the game has far too many glitches for a 95+ score. I can definitely see a 90 score, which is what I would give it. But even though they're funny, we shouldn't overlook flaws like an abundance of glitches. I think many 'critics' are far too easy on Rockstar. I've even been easy on them int he past since they've always been one of my favorite developers. Certainly a worthy contender for GOTY already, but the flaws should be taken into account just like they are in lesser hyped titles, that's all.

Not a bash on the game, just a fair assessment and an urge for more accountability when it comes to game reviewers.

Honestly I haven't experienced much in glitches. The ones I have were hilarious one timers. There is some texture clipping but it's not insanely noticeable.

Even if they make the game more entertaining, a game should be as glitch-free as possible.

They should not be overlooked because they're 'teh funny'.
