You should TF2 is an awesome game

Well, you should have picked up the Orange Box, which was $20.99 the week HL2 hit Mac.

Orange Box includes all 3 HL2 games, TF2, and (probably unnecessary now due to the free two weeks) Portal.

Having said that, all the Orange Box games put out for Mac so far have been on sale the week they come out: Portal for free, and HL2 series for 30% off.

thanks guys. i do have portal, and i didnt get orange box because the engine or something about HL2 gives me motion sickness. i tried playing it on xbox and its the only game to ever make me queasy. i will think about it.

Motion sickness in games is caused by the Field of View setting most of the time. The PC version lets you adjust it from 75 and 90 degrees. Just increase it in the options and that should stop the sickness.

So, does this grant access to all the mods and new maps, too? Will Mac users be able to make their own maps?

Isn't Apple and Steve Jobbs concerned of the profanity that is multiplayer gaming? I don't think hardcore Mac users are mentally capable to withstand the bad language that is found in the chat in any multiplayer game.

$20? I'll pass. Didn't think it was that great when I played it a while back, but glad to see we get an online game. Now give us CSS!

The Orange Box is $30. Which nets you TF2, Portal 1, and Half-Life 2 (with both expisodes). Still a superior deal.

@BPMOmega:
But if you were smart, you would have gotten Orange Box last week when it was $20.99 for the HL2 sale.

The amount of hours I've poured into this game since the Orange Box has released, though... (266.3 hours). It's easily the most hours I've put into any game ever. It's incredible how much a deal this game is. For me I'd say this game is worth $60 in and of itself.

Of course, I've gotten to experience the game as it grew. You're coming in on the tail end of it.
