"Is for the people that like shooters but don't like precise controls. "

I thought that was the central concept behind the Wii.

As most of the comments have stated. It wasnt the controls that were the problem. IT WAS EVERYTHING ELSE.a

@(Unverified) To be honest I think the main, biggest, ultimate, hardest-to-fix problem with it was 'being an FPS'. Or you could argue the biggest problem was with me for forgetting why I hate FPSs and buying it anyway.

Aside from being an FPS the game seemed pretty okay; nice graphics (even though art design was lacking), I liked the sound with the radios and whatever, and the story was stupid but no more stupid than many other games. And it was probably too short but I didn't finish it so whatever. (See above.)

I'm not going to make the same mistake twice so I won't be buying it, but good luck to Sega on the second one. And using M+ as an optional thing to improve offscreen movements is great, every game that uses pointer to turn should do this stat.

Yeah, I'm usually against bullshots but throwing some AA on it wouldn't of hurt! Thats one of the ugliest screenshots I've ever seen.

After Sonic and the Secret Rings no one can say the Wii can't do good graphics. It's the devs' fault, not the hardware.

I liked The Conduit. And overall, it was a damn good looking Wii release. It had a lack of inspiration in the art environment, but it was still a fun and arcadey shooter with solid controls and visuals.

@Winterfang

If there's anything we've learned from the Wii's launch, it's not to trust screenshots of Wii games, since 9 times out of 10, the game always looks better when it's actually running.

Seems rather pointless for an FPS, but we'll see.

I'm iffy on Conduit 2. Probably depends on how it fits in to the larger release schedule.

Hackers online were a pain, but playing with friends was fun. I would like a longer offline campaign and more developed online without glitches and less hackers and I would buy it, but I might be pushing it on a few things.

I enjoyed the first Conduit game. FPS games on the Wii feel fantastic, with the ability to point and shoot. I'm gonna agree with others here that the game was lacking in originality and story.

High Voltage Games and Sega should worry more about the story and art instead of the controls. The controls were damn near perfect the first time.
