You're not going to believe it. He wanted to make it free on Xbox Indie games, but Microsoft said no. He said it had to be free because he had promised all those people who worked on it, it would be free. He said he had no way to pay all of the different people who worked on it if he charged for the game. He then put it on the iphone app store and it became like the #1 selling game.

Maybe if you gave an actual reason for your opinion.

I hear him. Or maybe I don't, because I don't really even like it. I played it for a little while--the free version, mind you--but was not compelled by the sum of its parts. I love a quality, minimalist game, but there needs to be some aspect about it that's deep. This one felt too simple on all fronts.

I liked the menu though, and the jelly physics were visually impressive, but didn't yield (imo) a horribly compelling gameplay experience. To me this was like impressive water physics on something like Koi pond: impressive technically, but not all that fun in the end.

That said, I will not argue against success. If this this is selling like hotcakes, good for him to get it on Nintendo's stuff. I wonder if that whole "payment" issue GordoJones mentioned has been worked out?

Isn't it amazing how many people get downvoted when they start their comment off with "I know i'm gonna get downvoted for this." It's like their trying to bipass the system by stating that they see it coming.

Nothing against you or your arguement bud. You're not the first person to do this. Everyone at some point has, i know i have. It never works.

I'm gonna try a new theory. The downvote phrase at the end of the comment.

"I know i'll be downvoted for going completely off topic!"
