I'm confused as to why Dell is selling it. Certainly is a good deal though.

Yet they are selling Super Mario Galaxy 1 for $49.99.

Some things will never be explained...

Wow, you'll pretty much never see a better deal on the game considering Nintendo never lowers their prices.

Too bad I already have it...oh wait I already have it...*goes to play Mario*

"In fact, at this point, the only valid excuse for not trying out Galaxy 2 is, well, motion sickness"

What if you're like me, and aren't getting it because you liked Mario 64 more than Galaxy? Are there any reasons that a crazy nut job Like me should try Galaxy 2 despite not liking Galaxy 1 that much in comparison to 64?

I am also a crazy nut-job who liked 64 more than Galaxy. In fact, when I quit playing Galaxy 3/4's of the way through because I was bored, I went and played through 64 (on my DS) again for like the 6th time instead.

Yeah I bought Galaxy day 1 and also stopped playing it 1/2 or 3/4 into it cause I was bored as well. It might have just been a result of too much hype or rose-tinted Mario 64 glasses. Or it was just too easy.

I love M64 as much as the next guy, but anyone saying its better than the Galaxy Marios are just kidding themselves.

We're not talking Zelda: OoT compared to Twilight Princess here.

I like Mario 64 more than Galaxy, no I'm not kidding myself. I also like Galaxy 2 more than Galaxy. But I like Mario 64 more than Galaxy 2. Did I mention that I LOVE both Galaxy and Galaxy 2?

I'm talking Majora's Mask to Ocarina of Time up in here.

I'm definitely not kidding myself. Galaxy has a lot more unique ideas. It, of course, looks much better. It's more diverse. But I just had a lot more fun with Mario 64. It's probably just because the N64 was so incredibly awesome and such a huge jump from the SNES at the time that the first 3D Mario game jad a larger impact on me. I'm not saying Galaxy isn't better, just that I enjoyed 64 more.

I still might pick up Galaxy 2, I have heard it's better than 1. Especially now that a couple of you who like 64 more than G1 have mirrored that statement! Thanks for answering my question guys.

So your not getting Galaxy because you like Mario 64 better? Thats like saying you won't play Prime 2 and 3 cause you thought 1 was better. It makes NO sense at all. Wait no, my analogy makes no sense cause its from the same engine and generation.

It's like not buying the new 2010 (?) Zelda cause you liked Ocarina of Time better than Twilight Princess. Regardless of how you feel about the excellent N64 versions, does that make all future games from the same franchise unpurchasable? I definitely think the Donkey Kong Country games are better than DK64, but if Nintendo make whole new proper Donkey Kong game, i'll be sure to grab it.

Foetoid, let me put it another way: Galaxy bored me. So why would I buy 2? Mario 64 wasn't boring to me, an Galaxy was boring to me. It makes PLENTY of sense not to get Galaxy 2 on that logic.

It's like... If you loved The Matrix, but were let down by The Matrix 2, you probably wouldn't be too excited about 3, right?

What was the worst thing about SM64? They teased you by putting Yoshi in the game, but didn't let you ride him. What was the worst thing about SMS? This is a bit more debatable, but I'm going to say that it was how terribly riding Yoshi was handled, (projectile-vomiting-awesomeness aside). What is the biggest improvement from SMG to SMG2? Yoshi.

That's right. MFing Yoshi, done right, in 3D. Isn't that enough?
