lol, price drop.

If they added Player's Choice, I wouldn't hate them as much.

@ZexionArmando I remember reading an article about why there isn't any "player's choice" title for the Wii. It said that that's because Wii titles already have built in low price ($49.99) compare to 360and PS3 titiles ($59.99)

I think all of them are pretty likely except for Wii HD and Motionplus x2. And I think the handhelds on virtual console and virtual console on DS should be one square.

Exactly what I was thinking, really. Also, a Wiimote with built-in Motion Plus is more likely than "Motion Plus x2."

@MowDownJoe I wouldn't say its likely that they would be there at all. They still don't really see themselves as game console developers. And they sure don't make games, all the game apps are third party. Hope that answers the question.

@junhotak *Sigh* The replies fails are strong even on the new Joystiq...I meant to reply here, *ahem* Actually, Nintendo owns the rights to Donkey Kong, despite the fact that Tim Stamper made the characters for the game. If Rare owns the DKC series, how was Nintendo able to release those games on the Virtual Console in the first place (I know because I have all three games)? It was DEVELOPED by Rare

Seems like a waste of a space to me. Looking at the 360 and PS3 ones, they're at least reasonable. This is just a pipedream.

Seems like something like "Golden Sun 3 heading to 3DS" would be a better choice. Not one that I would want necessarily, but a lot more likely.

100% they're gonna go with 1st party (and/or) hardcore titles, F-Zero, Pikmin and Star Fox are good bets, but where's Pit this year?

I can't wait to see what they're going to do with Vitality Sensor however :D
It could be a really fun addition to some games (probably a bit expensive), but knowing Nintendo, they could easily ruin it. *cough* Cammie *cough*

I'm expecting Star Fox for the Wii before another handheld Star Fox appears.

There's quite a bit I'd like to see here, though Wii HD and Online Modernized are probably just wishful thinking. :(

Realistically, I only see B4, B5, I1, G1, O1, and O2.

But the wishful thinker in me would really like to see Pikmin 3, a 3DS VC (which syncs with your Wii), gameboy on virtual console, a new F-Zero, the new Wii Zelda, more Golden Sun info, and a new 2D metroid.

But that'll never happen.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat was the newest Donkey Kong Country game.

You know it to be true.

Still, a new DKC would be great, regardless of what platform.

Maybe you should just call this "Connect 5", as BINGO doesn't really make any sense. There's nothing in the columns linking them together and they obviously don't all start with the same letter. Picky? Yes. OCD? At times...

I believe so.

The father of the Xenosaga games, Tetsuya Takahashi, is head of Monolith Soft and is in charge of this game. But I don't know about the rest of the staff that worked on Xenosaga.

Yes, some of the same people who worked on the other xeno games are working on this one, but the developers have stated repeatedly that this is not a sequel. At best, this is a spiritual successor to the xeno games. That's no reason not to buy it, though. This game is shaping up to be awesome.

Wii E3 last year was pretty boring, hopefully they spice things up this year, I would like to see an online upgrade, current online is annoying, I think I have like 4 friends on Wii, simply because I can never be bothered with it despite trying hard to care at first.

I'd like to see more F-Zero, and where is our Kid Icarus game :(

Wii HD? Unlikely :P

I don't see the Wii going HD anytime soon, but who knows? They might make some kind of upscaling add-on for those who want a resolution boost for their current Wii titles. However a brand new Wii-HD seems like a move that Nintendo wouldn't make.

@Bigduo209 Yeah, I highly doubt there will be a Wii-HD. What would be the point? To satisfy tech-savvy gamers who threw away their SDTVs? That'd be nice, I guess, but it hardly warrants the release of a whole new SKU. I figure - and Nintendo has actually said themselves, in almost these exact words - that when they do release a new console (whenever that is) it'll be not only HD, but an entirely new machine, not just an incremental upgrade over the Wii.

I'm gonna say that the Vitality Sensor and Zelda are guaranteed; DSi price drop, Pikmin 3, Wii Party, Friend Collection, Layton and Xenoblade are likely; and the rest are pretty much shots in the dark. Given Nintendo, I don't think it's too far-off to guess that they will have little to none of the things we might logically expect (or want), and several things that no one could possibly have predicted.

Also, I'm surprised you didn't include Golden Sun or The Last Story. I think we're a hell of a lot more likely to see those than Mario Clash or a 2D Metroid. Also, I'm curious what kind of third-party software will be available on 3DS, though I guess no one can really make an informed guess at this point.
