I'd say that most of that is fairly decent. The only three that I can guarantee won't be there are the Wii HD and the Wii getting an updated internet service. The 2x Motion Plus thing is obviously a joke.

If we get a so called "Wii HD" it won't be an announcement of an actual HD Wii. It will be brand new tech that is Nintendo's 8th generation home console, which Iwata has stated before will be HD. It will most likely have the improved online service as well.

The DS Virtual Console and Handhelds on Virtual Console need to be changed to 3DS stuff.

A launch date for the 3DS is pretty much a given. Its going to be launching by March of next year at the latest so Nintendo has here, TGS, or their own thing if they don't go to TGS again to announce the date. With the main rumor being it releasing in October, and that being likely due to being roughly a month before Black Friday, E3 definitely seems to be the best place for a date. I highly doubt it will be $200+ though.

Wii Zelda info overload is a guaranteed thing at this point.

The others I don't have an opinion on.

As for my own prediction. Nintendo's biggest handheld games move to the 3DS as launch title. This includes Pokemon B&W and Golden Sun. We'll also see some stuff for The Last Story. We'll possibly get a joint announcement of Monster Hunter Tri G from Capcom and Nintendo and on the very fringe of possibility we'll see Monster Hunter Portable 3rd make its way over to the 3DS, these seem more like they'd happen at TGS though.

You're probably right in thinking that a Monster Hunter announcement is far more likely at TGS than E3; after all, MH is WAY bigger in Japan than the US.

@Suichimo agreed, Nintendo has no obligation to make Wii HD or minor upgrade on existing console. It's been discussed for a long time whether Nintendo-published games really need to be HD-ed? Plus, Iwata won't try to come up with Wii + HD to just make it look good. Next console will be yes in 8th generation for sure, but I think it is still a little early to discuss that already. Big N will try to push Wii a little bit more before move on to next generation. Still has potentials for the franchises hasn't been utilized, such as Pikman, Starfox, DK (Rare....), Kirby.... on top of that, new Zelda is coming out, Miyamoto can push another sequel for SMG, and more Wii series.

Actually, he is correct in calling Golden Sun DS Golden Sun 2. Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age are actually the same game, the GBA carts just weren't big enough so they had to split it. So technically, this should be Golden Sun 2.

This new reply system seems to be even more deranged than the old one. That said, it certainly does make for some... interesting threads. (And, if you want to have some fun, it's kind of like a mix-and-match game.)

I'm really, really surprised with all the comments saying that Zelda info overload is going to happen at E3. Have you folks seen the last couple of Nintendo E3's? There is no way they're going to 'overload' on any 'hardcore' game, unfortunately.

I'm certainly not saying this to be a jerk or anything! I would kill for a sh*t ton of Zelda info just as much as the next guy, but I'm just saying it's probably not going to happen. It's better to aim your expectations very low, and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Oh, and please don't downvote the messenger!

@The Pork

With Nintendo stressing that it'll be out before the end of the year, there is no better place for an overload.

Oh and don't forget this:

They take the time to explain what needs explaining. A lot of their core stuff is self-explanatory, while their newer ideas, not so much.

I imagine Wii Vitality is going to get a solid 15 minutes, but i would bet on Zelda getting equal time, since it's going to have such a new interface.

Ah yes, Suichimo. I still get goosebumps when I watch that vid.

But again, not to be a Debbie Downer, but that was a very different Nintendo back then. They still make amazing games, and I've no doubt this new Zelda will be just that ... but their main focus isn't on hardcore - it's on the more casual gamer.

There very well could be an epic trailer shown at E3 for the new Zelda, but let me be clear - that doesn't constitute an overload of info. It's just a trailer.

One more thing - where has Nintendo insisted that the new Zelda will be out by the end of 2010? There's nothing even close to a confirmation that I've seen, and even with a 'confirmation', you and I both know they're well-known for delays. Heck, look at Twilight Princess! That had a few delays at least before it finally came out.

Here's hoping I'm completely and utterly wrong, and half the E3 presentation is all Zelda, but again - I think it's best to be cautiously optimistic.

-Heavy focus on Motion Plus software, with third and first party support that should be due out in a matter of months or less.

-Maybe more info on Vitality Sensor.

-We may find out what features the 3DS possess that allow it to disrupt Sony's 3D on the PS3.

-Maybe something about Star Fox since Miyamoto made a slight mention about it a little while ago.

Then there's the obvious stuff like Zelda, though we'll probably see a few surprises here or there. But the big focus will be Motion Plus, followed probably by the 3DS.

Why would they want to release the games gamers truly care about? The only (asinine) excuse I've heard is that it won't be released due to "legal" issues. Well, I've got news for Nintendo; I own the original Earthbound, Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger cartridges, and as an owner, I justify playing said games via the Homebrew Channel on an SNES emulator! What's that, Nintendo? I can't do that because I don't have the rights to use unofficial software on my Wii, which will never have a snowball's chance in Hell of ever being released? Is it really "wrong" for hackers to provide legitimate users the option to play games that haven't nor ever will be released on the Virtual Console? And is it really "wrong" for hackers to do what Nintendon't want to do?

I'll be right pissed off if the next Star Fox game is a handheld game, 3D or otherwise. That franchise deserves to be played on my big screen! Come on Nintendo, give it a proper treatment. Take what you accomplished in Star Fox 64, and give it a make over, throw in some online multiplayer (co-op campaign and dog fighting), make the game longer than previous Star Fox games (with the ability to save after each mission), lots of level branches, multiple objectives in each level, massive boss fights and a new villian to replace Andross (is he dead, or just pulling the strings of this new villian.... ).

It nearly is, I'm just finding it hard to justify buying a console for just one game, saying that though I bought my 360 last September for just 2 games really :P The other games while no doubt a really good, just don't grab my attention as much. Mainly because the last time I played a Zelda or Metroid game was back on the SNES.

I'll probably pick one up during the summer with the release calendar for PS3 and 360 calming down. There was too many good games coming out in the first half of this year for me to ignore.

I do want to buy a Wii, I'm just hoping I see something at E3 that makes me go "Holy crap, I NEED to buy a Wii!" I've been trying to calm down with my impulse purchasing for a while as my wallet had threatened to leave me if I kept treating it the way I did! :P

@B3anz129 It's a cool idea, but I think Nintendo would stay far away from video chats on the DS. Parents would probably be in an uproar. =3= There was a big fuss about safety in pictochat, which is kind of baffling. So I'm doubting video chat capability.

So yeah. I'm pretty much only here to say that I am almost 100% sure we'll be getting something about Professor Layton at E3.
And that makes me very happy.
VERY.
VERY.
HAPPY.

Even though I know EVERYTHING about this game. I've practically played it I've had so many spoilers. I just really want to hear what they do with the new characters' voices (Particularly Older!Luke and Claire).

Also, it's so hard to resist calling Older!Luke "Legal Luke", just because I've been so into the fandom it's just become his name. XD
