I never played the first game, but I don't really see what has some excited for this game. I'm sure little blobs of oil aren't all your enemies, but it just doesn't look exciting at all.

I Think this will be like Bioshock except in a 1950's suburban setting with aliens.
In other words, awesome!

I have to admit. I'm a little saddened by the fact that this isn't going to be a top down Turn Based Strategy game. I loved that about the original. And the Globe view from which you launch. AND THE BASE CUSTOMIZATION!?!?!?! oh my . There better keep alot of that stuff.
