I've been playing the game on my friend's house and I've to say that is a very good game.

I've been always a PES fan but nowadays FIFA is a bit better.

Since we're still in Beta mode, and I know you guys are fixing the reply bug and the links bug at the bottom... Could I make a request about the "Continue Reading" thing?

I'd like it to always appear as a button.

Also, I think the Older Posts, Newer Posts need to switch places like they used to be. Doesn't make since to click on older posts button on the left side when the older posts are really that way -->

No, because the only place you will ever see them become world champions is in a video game.... aka THEY SUCK!

@Neonikngc Mexico and Uruguay are going through to round 2: the times they are a'changing. Uruguay's defense is solid, and Forlan and Suazo are dangerous sometimes. France is a mess, so just LOL at them. And poor South Africa are going to be the first host nation not to make it out of group stage.

How about them Yanks though :)

GO STATIONS!

Damn this is tempting. After watching the USA vs. England game I am really itching for more soccer. Even though we tied, USA forever!!! Damn, E3 and the World Cup at the same time? I might just die of happiness. :D

$40 for a shitty licenced title!?
How is this a deal, Joysitq?

You could get 2 good games like Valkyria Chronicles, Shadow Complex or No More heroes 2 for that price.

In response to your reply fail below:

Ignoring the Olympics the world cup is the most watched sports event in the world, this game in itself is an excellent sports title and as I just said the liscence is anything but 'niche'.

Also being liscenced does not make you limited to sales within that crowd, plenty of people Arkham Asylum without being a fan of Batman and I have personally bought a Naruto game without liking Naruto because I thought it was a good fighter. So next time you feel like talking out your ass, keep your mouth shut.

The only audience that will love it are fans of the World Cup, thus it's a shitty licenced title.
Just like how the only Naruto fans will love Naruto games.

Still doesn't change the fact that this'll be $5 in a bargain bin 2 weeks after the World Cup is over.

Wow you Americans really are big-headed. So you got a goal from a half arsed attempt, from a player who plays in th ENGLISH premier league. Fulham FC, if you're interested. Green is an amazing Keeper, and if you saw the friendly against Mexico and the fantastic save he made against Altidore in the second half then maybe you would reconsider your big-headed comments.
Not to mention your best players have experience from the Premier league, Dempsey, Howard, Donavan, may I go on? I don't mean to be a troll, but if you understood how you managed to scrape a point then maybe I'd tolerate you better.
We scored in the 4th minute of play, your defence was on bad form. Besides, it's the first game of the tournament so don't get your hopes up too high, you won't do as well as you hope.

@(Unverified) Why is it that England fans criticize everyone but themselves. USA shut Rooney down. Let me repeat this sentence in case you didn't get it the first the: THE USA shut down WAYNE ROONEY! He barely made a peep the whole game. Both goals were made because of elementary mistakes on the part of the US defense, and by Robert Green. Had someone stepped up to Dempsey, perhaps Green wouldn't have needed to even touch the ball, but because of the Brits overconfidence, they just let him shoot. If CONCACAF is so terrible then why did you just tie one of our best teams. Why did Spain LOSE to them in Confed? Because USA is coming up, and instead of stomping on our aspirations, why don't you try to win something for yourselves. It's been nearly as long since Uruguay won The Cup as it has been since England did.

Yeah it is only 36 years difference!!!!

You are right though. USA did a great job yesterday and it was a huge result. They shut down Rooney, Crouch did not find his feet and Heskey is a donkey. I'm actually more suprised about Ghana 1 Serbia 0.

Still early days in the group stages though. Now Sloveneia have won the pressure is on. but it is anyone's group.

ummmmm my parents!?!? lol!

Honestly though, I see you are a Uruguay fan and huge props to you guys for drawing with the French I hope you do Qualify.

There is a lot of arrogance during the world cup. (not me though - i try to be open minded!) BUT I think the Hooligan culture has changed a WHOLE lot in the last 10 - 15 years back home and I think this world cup will be great for Africa.

Hand on my heart England sucked pretty bad yesterday. I hope we do qualify as it is a pretty giood team, they just need to learn to play together. USA doesn't have as much quality players as England but they played MUCH better as a team.

I'm English but I live I married an American girl and I live in the USA so you can see how interesting my day was yesterday. We compromised with my kids wereing England shirts and waving American flags. !!! =D

@biglozbowski Very sorry if this doesn't end up in the proper place.

That sounds like a sweet family, man.

I'm actually a die hard Mexico fan, and only got into the US with the inclusion of Herculez Gomez and Gringo Torres. Disappointed Herc didn't get subbed in toward the end of the game, he doesn't need much time at all. But I'm just sick of people automatically discounting the USA as if they hadn't made great strides in the last decade with their game. We may not have all our players in Europe, but Bob Bradley seems to have some idea about how to play above our pay grade, even if no one can see how the eff it works. We have no movement on the wings though.

England should embrace their Tottenham roots. Too bad they can't have Gareth Bale and Aurelio Gomez though. And bench Terry and put in Dawon. I wish Theo Walcott had stayed as well.

No I totally know the USA are a strong team. I used to go to Houston Dynamo games a bit (I live in Texas) Landon Donavon is a scary man. and I knew that Clint Demsey would be a major threat.

I'm actually a Birmingham City fan (3rd Generation bluenose) so I'm used to disappointment HAHA!!

Here is my pick for the next England game

Hart
Johnson Terry Dawson A.Cole
Lennon Lampard Barry J Cole
Gerrard
Rooney

Although I'm dreaming.

Nobody really cares about soccer in America except for immigrants and little kids..I saw a guy on TV comparing the atmsophere in a bar during the World Cup to the atmosphere during March Madness. Coming from a state (North Carolina) which year after year has at least one team in the Elite 8 or Final 4 I seriously find this hard to believe. What kind of game lets you just have a tie in whats basically the world championships? That would be like having a tie for a gold medal in the Olympics. Soccer will never be anywhere close to popular in the USA..we love football, baseball, and basketball too much

Well actually i'm FROM California but I now live in NC to be close to my children. I have lived pretty much all over this country (CA, VA, FL, NJ, NY, NC) and pretty much everywhere has the same sentiment. I was just using the example of NC cuz we do have a rich college basketball tradition here with the Tobacco Road teams. In no way is it possible for the World Cup to cause as much excitement as March Madness - especially if UNC, Duke, or Wake Forest is in it.

@Ch0ppa Why go into a soccer page just to bash it by saying America doesn't and will not care about it. Its slowly sinking into the American culture. Atleast its not like the American sports that calls their athletes world champions when in reality the sports only includes US teams...

@Alex

I'm on the fence. Terry is world class but he is getting slow. Carragher was also looking slow which isn't good as we have a major hole in our back four.
