Kojima Productions can make some excellent games but its countdowns are transcendent. Continuing an annual tradition, Hideo and company have opened yet another mysterious E3 countdown, this time teasing images of various foods being chopped. Perhaps the imagery of foods is supposed to represent the hunger gamers have for exciting revelations from the trade show. Or maybe the use of knives is symbolic of the lighting bolt action waiting to be discovered in Metal Gear Solid Rising. Or maybe, just maybe, Kojima is set to unveil his next project: Cooking Mama 4: Mama's Revenge, the franchise's first M-rated entry.
As usual, we welcome your conspiracy theories. However, let us warn you: you will be wrong.

@(Unverified) -- Its not food being cut its everything being cut including Rope..
Look at it carefully.. The message is overwhelmingly pointing to something being CUT , or something being cut out.. Maybe they are cutting a game from production ? Or even possibly a platform ?
I dont think its about cooking, or cooking mama for that fact..

You waited at Union Square? I went in the morning to see him at Uniqlo and even that line reached around the block! I bought one of the shirts, too:

The gray one with the cardboard boxes over the guys' heads.

Something's up with the reply to replies in the comment system right now... Also, the e-mails I get notifying me of replies take me to blank pages... Weird.
Anyway, that's cool that you won something there! I couldn't wait again in the Best Buy line, I was so tired! XD

So there's going to be this teaser site which will reveal itself to be a teaser for a teaser for a teaser.

@kthx0r -- Now that makes perfect sense..
It could also be 30 cut scenes on display in e3 rather than just 30 seconds..
I thought all of the cutting was implying a cut in either platform or a game..

My bet is on that this signifies the amount of diversity in the enemies that are going to be in Metal Gear Solid: Rising that you can "cut" through

I think its both a MGS:Rising reference and a MGS3 console sequel that will be PS3 exclusive.

The grid of images reminds me of the brainwashing scenes from any movie where a shitload of images are presented to condition people. Perhaps this is his 'taboo' game.
