New Force Unleashed 2 trailer shows Vader doing what he does best

Darn that Darth Vader -- sure, he's a Sith Lord who betrayed his master, will blow up a planet without a second thought, and even threatens to kill his own soldiers, but honestly, you just can't trust the guy. This brand new E3 trailer from LucasArts for Force Unleashed 2 shows the game's protagonist Starkiller getting betrayed by ol' helmethead yet again, and then lightsaber slicing and dicing his way out of a whole heap of space trouble.

We already knew that Starkiller would be dual-wielding lightsabers in the game, and while this trailer is vague to say the least, it does hint at why we're seeing him whole and hale again, instead of the (spoiler) less-than-lively state we saw him in at the end of the last game. Looks like it's an Attack of the Clones all over again. At least that force power looks fun -- hopefully we'll see more at E3 next week. Watch the whole thing after the jump.

I just hope that they find a way to have a playable scene like this in the game. It look good, but it's just CGI. I want to play this event.

I came into this topic expecting what he does best to be saying "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo". Why have you mislead me Joystiq?

Why is it that we star wars fans cannot be given a movie, cgi, or live action for that matter to the quality that a game studio can produce in a simple 2 minute cinematic?

Very cool CGI movie, but yeah, I'm not thinking Vader would leave an uber powerful sith/jedi in the hands of a couple storm troopers if he really wanted him dead.

They totally should have made him the real ice truck killer. He's got the evil look down to a science. He was badass in Smallville too.

Cant w8 for this game. I want to find out more about the tech specs (game engine) they used this time around, because the frist one combined the Rockstar RAGE engine w/ another engine. pretty cool.

I hope the developers really took a good look at what made TFU good, and what made it bad, and improved upon it, because I want a sequel worthy of Jedi Knight, and I believe that they can deliver.

it's sad when a game trailer is better than three movies put together (Episode 1,2, and 3)

That was pretty awesome. I just hope that the gameplay is better than the first. And they don't have a level like pulling the god damned star destroyer out of the sky! That infuriated me while playing it. It was supposed to be fun but no they had to keep chucking ti-fighters at me.
