Metal Gear Solid, Seriously one of the best games I've ever played.

Metal Gear Solid 2, haven't played MGS 4 or the PSP versions, but would like to.

MGS2 was such a sucker punch for me - I did not know about Raiden till the first time he took off his swimsuit mask. I was desperately trying to rationalize why Snake would have blond hair...

But I loved it anyways, of course I mean that in the most sadistic way possible. I always enjoyed the running and gunning more then stealthing. I killed Emma a lot.

Hmmm is a close call between MGS 3 & 4 but I think 3 wins out for a great story and awesome bosses

MGS 2 because it was batshit crazy. Then MGS 3 because he was SNAAAKEE EAAATERRRRR!!!

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is probably my favorite game Mr. Kojima directed. It was a great end to Solid Snake's saga.

Definitely MGS 2: Sons of Liberty, which was my first game for the PS2.

It just has to be Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner.

Zone of the Enders 1! I loved that game.

Metal Gear Solid. It was the single most mind-blowing game I have ever played. Everything from the voice acting and production values, to the boss fights (Psycho Mantis!). It was also the one game that made me decide to get a PlayStation. And I've never looked back.

I'm gonna have to go with Metal Gear Solid.

They were all so good but I would have to say MGS3 with MGS4 in a close second.

Metal gear Solid 2. While a majority of fans and the gaming press look upon it with as a low point in the series, I found it utterly fascinating. Kojima's ability to delve into so many concepts both philosophical and technical made MGS2 a fantastic experience.

Metal Gear Solid. Easily. I would KILL for MGS to be re-re-released on Xbox360 or PS3 with full HD graphics. Literally kill. I would kill a man in front of his own mother if it was a guarantee.

Either the original or MGS3, but Peace Walker isn't too far behind those two.

Amazing singe player story with tonnes of nostalgia and great gameplay and characters make this my number 1.

Metal Gear Solid 1 was incredible, but hasn't aged that well. I'll go with MGS2 as my favorite, t hat was a game that really impressed me.

With Hideo as director, my favorite game has got to be Policenauts - I saved up for months to buy my first Playstation in the 6th grade just so I could play that game! That was a lot of lawns I had to mow!

Metal gear solid on ps1. I have played that game so much and beaten it numerous times. That game is what made me into the gamer I am today. Just everything about that game is perfect.

MGS:PW ~ only on chapter 2 but wow.

Holy crap this is awesome.

Despite the hate, MGS2 is my favorite because not only is it the story of Raiden, but it's also a tangent of Snake's mission. The audience gets to see him as anyone else would, not as Snake would. It's like the Batman Effect: in the movies and shows, he swoops in from the darkness and strikes. In B:AA you play as Batman and see how he would move and work from the darkness.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater. I remember setting down my controller after the fight with The Boss and refusing to go further. I yelled at the TV that I refused. Probably sat there for a half hour. One of the most powerful ending I've viewed.

Metal Gear Solid for the PSX!!

Metal Gear Solid 2, and a close second by Metal Gear Solid 4.

I know it's the cool nerd thing to hate on MGS2, but it's the only one in the series that's ever really "clicked" with me.
