@Decanus
Could have been 30 if you ordered from GAME a month ago, I pre ordered because I knew I would get int regardless of reviews.

I don't know about New Vegas anymore. All the screen shots look really bad and I wonder if it's going to be more of the same. I think I'll have to wait on a quick look or a review or something.

@(Unverified) I feel the same way. I want this game to be awesome, but I think it's going to get old fast, if you played Fallout 3 for 100 hours like me...

@Sidebuster
So long as the gunplay is improved so that VATS doesn't feel like a necessity and the story is more involving, I'll be fine - regardless of my multiple playthroughs and DLC purchases. Obsidian is known for their darker, deeper storyline narratives and I just can't get enough of that Fallout universe!

@Sidebuster I feel the same way. I loved Fallout 3, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't stand 50 more hours of it. Hopefully it has something more to offer.

awesome, after spending 90+ hours wandering through the wastelands in Fallout 3 and countless hours before that in Fallout 1 & 2.

I'm looking forward to spending some time in vegas, can't wait to see what the buffet is like.

Yes, the engine may be looking a little tired, but for me, the sheer sense of exploration offered by Fallout 3 has never been matched in a game. I love discovering these worlds for the first time. With some of the original Fallout team members on board, I am hoping NV turns out well.

100 hours? I have over 400 hours in Fallout 3, and that was just one play through. I loved just wandering around looking at things.

Ok so that gives me .... 4 months to do Mothership Zeta, The Pitt, Point Lookout, and explore most of the north district of the wasteland. *loosens collar* - god damn.

Yes, I think that is what causes it. I did it in the Bodycount preview this morning and it ended up in another thread.

Can't wait for this! Fallout 3 had legitimate gripes to be GOTY for 2008 AND 2009. Best DLC ever.

I was late to the party with Fallout 3. I got the GOTYE. So on one hand, I'm excited to jump into a new world, but knowing how great of a deal the GOTYE was, it would probably make more sense to wait a year for that. I'd like to see what kind of DLC roadmap Interplay has.

I guess the worst part about the game for me (besides the constant crashing) was how it took 1000000000 bullets to kill one monster. No matter where I shot them.

You couldn't have loved it that much if you don't feel like playing more of it.

I really want to get this game, BUT I'm a little concerned with all the bugs that showed up in FO3. Especially as the save file grew. Clearing my game data started to get old to fix any bugs. I might wait and see how the fixes go and what problems are reported before getting it.

Stop getting your hopes up boys and girls. You're only going to get your heart broken.

This is Obsidian after all.

Well I am playing through Fallout 3 this summer finally and finishing it off, and it is not a bad game or anything, but I think I will be set for the next year or so. Should have played when it came out, but wanted to wait until I had a bunch of time to play and never happened last summer.

Sure it just looks like F3 with some new additions and a change in scenery, but I loved F3. If it weren't for the fact that I ran out of things to do I'd still be playing it. So long as this game has plenty of hours of content I'll be happy to get it day one.

Fallout 3 is one of my favourite games and I really hope New Vegas is as good as it, if not better. The only thing I'm not so sure about is how all the buildings are still intact, I liked how in Fallout 3 the whole place was ruined.

Can't wait for this though! :D
