All this news kinda just makes me want the next generation of consoles...don't feel like spending another $150 to extend the life of my 360.

I hope your kidding you prefer to spend 300400 more for What a few graphics upgrades? I for one hope that Sony and MS stay with the ten year life cycle because by than technology will have advance enough to justify a the purchase of a new console.

Microsoft is treating Kinect as a new console, and that's how I think it'll be. This might give the 360 a ten year life cycle.

Makes no sense. Dont feel like spending the cash? You dont have to. How does a camera and Kinect extend the life of your console. You 360 will continue to do the things it has always done and you will be able to always play the games you enjoy. Next gen console? See ya in 2013.

Lets try that again
You don't just get a graphics update with a new gen. you get larger, more detailed worlds, better ai, better physix, etc. A new gen ushers in a more advanced game on the whole. I would love to see a next next gen gta game ie even larger than 4, with better ai, in all a more realistic city.

RV, just exactly how big do you want the worlds to be. Just because a next gen console can make bigger worlds doesn't mean they will. San Andreas was bigger than GTA IV for example. I actually have that camera too. Got it in an XBL bundle, along with Uno and some points I think.
I think I used it on my xbox once, the rest of the time its served as a webcam.

Swear to God, I'm not sure what felt worse, the fact that I couldn't control that game, or the fact that after I got frustrated and left, the white wall the camera was still pointed managed to do so much better than me that it got an achievement.
