It didn't even occur to me at first that 'shiny' may have meant 'reflective'. Because of Firefly, 'shiny' now means 'awesome' to me.

Very cool looking. I can't wait to see the press conference!
Microsoft makes it so easy sometimes for me to ignore my Wii and PS3. I feel bad that I can play any system, but so many times I'd just rather play Xbox.

So is it going to be in white as well? I really don't want a black one on top of my white xbox. That said I don't really think I want a Kinect no matter what color or prices it comes out in.

They could do a lot better than that boring typeface for their logo, but at least the device itself looks pretty nice still.

I absolutely hate that they are going to have to price it to what they want the consumer to believe that its worth. it has to be over 60 because thats what a regular game costs. guys WE ALL KNOW this will be priced at $ 99.99. that is the spot it will be priced at. guaranteed.

I would say, anything more than the price of a controller, or being able to be bundled with an "actual" game for under $100 it will fail.

It looks nice, construction looks solid , it doesn't look cheap and it doesn't look kid friendly.
Considering the majority of the announced titles so far are shov.. Party Games , the price better be $50 if they expect to sell loads..
