Way to go MS, you broke the super hard code, how to search in Netflix, round of applause for MS for breaking the code. *claps*

@Itchyfinger

No kidding. It doesn't bother me too much seeing as my computer is near by but come on. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of.

But at least we'll have it soon.

As some one who doesn't use Netflix on Xbox I wasn't aware this wasn't already a feature. Seems like something you'd obviously want to implement from the beginning...

@SpeeGold Yeah, it sucked. You could browse, but if you were looking for something specific, you'd have to go to your computer and add it to your queue.

Good to hear. There's been many times when I wish this feature existed. The only thing that could improve Netflix for me now is even more (and newer) titles to stream.

I think that Microsoft said they weren't doing anymore Spring/Fall updates, but just updates when they wanted to bring them in.

Omg, how long did that take. You know those bastard search functions, they're always a bummer to program. What's that? I have to wait till November? Well that's great.

in fairness, this falls on Netflix's shoulders. If they don't release the APIs for it, it's not going to happen. MS isn't developing this as far as I know.

uhhhhh you can't blame netflix entirely....as it has to go thru the right channels.....I know the API has been out for that, I have a free app on my iPhone that has it....I use it to add stuff to my Q to watch on my PS3, 360, and Wii when I dont feel like getting up to do it on the computer...

@Zepinephrine

They won't announce that tomorrow...because search was added to the PS3 Netflix months ago.

Strike that, I guess not everyone got the search feature, it's still being tested. Guess I was lucky.

I've had Netflix search on my PS3 since I got the system in February. It works great, and makes me sorry I ever bought a Roku box.
