Probably. I'm hyped for the 3DS, but let's see what's Sony's got in store. Kevin Butler twitted to hold on to our helmets ;) Wonder if he'll make an appearance.

@ThatStuffsLethal Not so much. I was more hyped about the Stealthbox 360 (engadget's term, and I like it) than I was about the 3DS. But I'm also super stoked for MGS on 3DS, RE on 3DS, and all the other great games they showed off. However, I DON'T like the new Zelda, not only was it too early to show, but they got Twilight Princess in my Mario Galaxy and it looks AWFUL.

Only if you are a Nintendo fanboy. So far, they're int he lead by a mile against MS. But, their conference wasn't that great. The new Zelda looked terrible, when the creator can't play it you know there are serious controller issues (don't give me the bit about wireless interference), Epic Mickey looks like an epic fail, donkey kong country looks decent, kirby was by far their best title, wii party is fail, mario sports mix is fail, golden sun for ds looks solid, other m looks good, 3ds was a letdown because the screen was a lot smaller than I thought it'd be and the analogue controller looks awkward at best. They spent most of the time cheerleading about their sales success.
It was pretty good but to say they won it before Sony even comes up is premature. They beat MS for sure but that wasn't hard to do this year.

Nintendo's showing wasn't stellar, but it didn't fall flat like Microsoft's Kinect either.
Most of Kinect's games were generic mini-games that will do little to attract consumers to the hardware. Meanwhile, Nintendo kept the Wii relevant with games revolving around popular characters like James Bond, Mickey Mouse, Donkey Kong, etc.
And the 3DS is guaranteed to outsell Kinect. Kinect requires a 360, making it extremely expensive for most casual gamers who do not own 360s.
I also liked how Nintendo made fun of 3D glasses, something they know Sony will be showing later this afternoon.

They were about PSP / Wii level. Good but not all that much better than the PSP in terms of graphical fidelity. Compared to the DS it was a huge leap forward but thats not hard to do. Look how much better iPhone graphics are than DS graphics.

I think it's funny people keep saying that. Mostly the fanboys. MS sucked for sure but I think Sony will easily show the better gaming titles. Nintendo showed off a lot of garbage no one cares about but at least they managed to show some actual games that gamers want to play. Still, way early to call them the winners.

Seriously cannot wait to get my hands on a 3DS... so glad I resisted the urge to buy a DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL - I'll be getting a 3DS for sure. Kid Icarus looks amazing, as do Zelda, Kirby, DKC, and Metroid... this is one epic year for Nintendo.

I love how people freak out over Kid Icarus, but I'd bet that probably one out of twenty commenters have actually played the original, and the rest just know him because of Brawl.
That aside, the original game is actually pretty horrendous if you play it nowadays. Nostalgia is a bitch.

Nintendo had a lot of surprises. I mean look how bad Joystiqs nintendo bingo turned out. I hope sony does well, but I don't think they will have to many surprises. even if a ico/sotc collection is announced, it wouldn't be much of a surprise. here's hoping i'm wrong and sony blows us away!
