How many of you people have a room in your house near your X-Box or PS3 where 4 of you can move freely, without banging into each other, and where no part of any persons body may break line of sight between the camera and any other person?
The kinect cannot differentiate between body parts so unless you can stand side by side you're going to get interference. It also requires absoloutley perfect lighting to capture motion otherwise you risk losing movement in lack of differentiation.
The Move captures the motion of the controllers much better but doesn't capture the full body's movement. It does it in any light though.
There are pros and cons for both. For some $150 is too much initial outlay. For others the Move is more expensive but can be upgrade as and when. Some people have friends who will also buy a move and 1 or 2 controllers who will bring them round to play and that will make it more cost effective.
I don't know. For me, Move is not only cheaper it's more viable. For someone with 3 mates who play with them regularly in daylight in a large room the Kinect is cheaper.
Why can't you guys just agree to disagree that each has it's advantages?

Heh, heh...
I love how Sony people have to pay $180 for full 2 person capable PS WiiMote, while MS people only have to pay $150 for a full 2-4 person (unconfermed as of yet) camera, 3d inferred depth system, amicrophone system that can locate and isolate your voice, and face/voice recognition.
