Portal 2 made its E3 debut ... at Sony's press conference! Valve's perspective-bending puzzle sequel certainly looks far more ambitious than its predecessor, although its 2011 date has us quite sad. Grab some cake, and watch!

I'm not sad about 2011, especially when I'm too busy still being shocked it will finally be on my platform of choice.

Gabe's appearance was awesome and I was impressed that he was honest and open about saying what he did.

"Portal 2 made its E3 debut ... at Sony's press conference!" I couldn't help but lol at that! Any word on the pricing of the game? I'm also curious as to what that Steam/Cloud thing is all about. You guys should totally put that Gabe Newell bit at Sony's conference up. I'm not much into Valve's games, but that shocked even me.

@PilzE wants your mint spaghetti Steam Cloud basicly allows you to keep your save off your computer's hard-drive and resume playing on any other computer you want. Makes upgrading computers and maintaining old save files less a pain in the ass.

Looks interesting, but the trailer sure went out of the way to not show us anything new except scenery.

When the music and video started during Jack speaking I was like "what the hell is goin on?".

Then when I saw Gabe walk out on the floor, I jumped up from my bed and yelled, " I knew it!". I can't wait for this. I'm very anxious for this!

Gabe/Valve, I forgive you!

Sucks it has been pushed to 2011. I'm already in my (no lie) FIFTEENTH playthrough of the original.

The trailer was a bit short in my opinion.

when I saw the Aperture Science logo I was all like "WHAT!!!???". And then I was all like "Ooohh YEA!"

@Zepinephrine Same reaction! I had a deep smile on my face.

This was one of the best parts of the show. I had chills...

Other highlights: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Sorcery, LittleBigPlanet 2, inFamous 2 trailer, Final Fantasy XIV, GT 5 date, Patapon 3, Heroes on the Move, Kevin Butler appearance, Killzone 3, and as I said before PORTAL 2. I'll be getting that on PS3, although I could get it on Xbox or Mac, but Gabe convinced me to get it on Playstation.

Wonderful show!!!

And Dead Space? How did I forget Dead Space 2? That was so nice.

OK! Thanks, dood! I really don't have a head for computers, so all that talk about cloud computing and whatnot kinda went over my head.

I was expecting this game to have some sort of water manipulation physics. I want to put a portal in a pool of water and have it leak out the ceiling.

i will be interested to see how they expand the game play to at least 8 hours. I#'m not sure more puzzles will be enough, they will need to introduce more dynamics but then I guess the GLADoS is enough...

Im calling there will be brownies this time around, cake is so 200X
