Interplay has launched a teaser site for Fallout Online, presumably the proper title for Project V13 from Chris Taylor, designer of the original Fallout (with help from Masthead Studios). This comes in the wake of drawn-out legal action between Interplay and Bethesda over the rights to the Fallout IP, and news in January that a beta for the V13 title would be coming in 2012.
The site offers a sign-up form for the Fallout Online mailing list and an option to be informed when registration for the open beta begins. We're contacting Interplay for more on the now-named game and hope to hear back before we all need to start carrying Rad Away.

Are any of the key black isle studios crew coming back to work on this if not i dont have the much faith in interplay, as much as i would love a fallout mmo i would rather have none than a crappy one to mooch of the sucess of bethesdas/Obsidians work.

I don't know if I should be excited or worried.. interplay.. fallout... mmo.
Like that threesome I was involved in with Katherine Heigl and Paul Giamatti there's really just too many mixed emotions of joy and fear going on for me to enjoy the moment

Bethesda went from being super possessive over the Fallout IP to letting anyone have a crack at it.
They are going to devalue the brand if they keep handing it off to places like Obsidian and Interplay.
Don't even start with me regarding my loathing for Obsidian or Interplay as you'll just get a laundry list of dissolved studios, IPs sold at bargain bin prices, and, of course, shitty broken games.

@FOI
The original team that created fallout (black isle) split up after the company folded, if i remember correctly a good chunk of the original team went between obsidian and bioware.
The only company I'm worried about is interplay because of the quality (or lack thereof) in the more recent titles preceding Fallout 3

Go ahead and waste your money on a terrible game then. I've spent enough of mine giving Obsidian chance after chance after chance.
Interplay used to be a name which meant something but these days they are but a cautionary tale of what happens under extreme mismanagement. Interplay has sacrificed and pissed away nearly every single decent IP and studio which they've ever had. Do you really wanna give your credit card info to a company like that? Scary.

"Chris Taylor, designer of the original Fallout"
I was about to say "I'd laugh if it sucks", but really, who am I kidding? I'll be crying if that happens.

Did anyone else notice the disclaimer? Bethesda looks to be on board with this, maybe.
