No pricing info yet, but you can bet we'll be bugging Sony for it when day two of E3 2010 gets underway. We'll update then -- well, as soon as we stop aiming the "guns" at one another and making "pew-pew" sounds, that is.
PlayStation Move 'shooting attachment' is groovy

Sony's pre-E3 press conference may have had an appearance by Kevin Butler, but it didn't offer a glimpse at the far-out "shooting attachment" (a.k.a. gun shell) for its fast-approaching PlayStation Move magic wand motion controller. Sure to be great for lightgun-style games such as the just announced Time Crisis: Razing Storm, the shell snaps onto the Move controller, giving it a trigger and a distinct likeness to the sci-fi blaster wielded by the star of Earthworm Jim.

Looks like a hair-dryer peripheral for an interactive hair-dressing game... Or a Barbie simulator, lol.

So on top of the controller and subcontroller as well as games I'll be buying later this year, you're hoping I buy this too? ...well I just don't know about that

It's optional you know. Who knows, maybe it'll come bundled with the game, just like Mario Kart Wii's shell did. And that was optional as well.

All it'll take is one commercial with Kevin Butler and I'll buy two of them.

I find it kind of sad that your girlfriend actually needs a dildo, and sadder still that you know about it.

It's interesting that few PS3 fans are worried about going into xbox threads and telling them welcome to the Eyetoy's period of time. I'm sure Kinicth is more advanced than Eyetoy just as Move is than the wiimote.
We're just excited about the new PS3 games we're going to be playing. This is a step forward. No one is forcing you to buy it.

Not really, you'd look like a plank, lol, you're better off with a gun, no matter how much it looks like a bubblegum shooter :D

You know, I was all set with a snarky comment comparing this to the Wii's equally useless zapper shell thingy.
But then you had to go ahead and point out the similarity to the Earthworm Jim pistol. You're totally right, and that totally makes this thing 950% more awesome than the Wii zapper.

@hbi2k It's awesome if you're playing EWJ. But it will look silly and distracting if you're playing nearly anything else.

This was not shown at the conference because at that exact same event, Kevin Butler proceeded to mock accessories like this.
Something along the lines of "who wants to pretend they're pointing a gun at the screen, huh? pew pew" got plenty of laughs from the audience, clearly mocking Wii.
I don't understand why so many people still can't see how arrogant, unprofessional and "me-too" Sony are being with Move. They act like they're the first to do motion control full stop. Same with 3D. It's sad, I think they actually truely believe their own hype.

I'm pretty sure Kevin Butler was mocking Kinect with that statement.
At any rate, they may be trying to play "me too" it will be interesting to see where they take it and how it's implemented. I just hope the two new motion implementations don't bring the shovel ware to our systems!
