No pricing info yet, but you can bet we'll be bugging Sony for it when day two of E3 2010 gets underway. We'll update then -- well, as soon as we stop aiming the "guns" at one another and making "pew-pew" sounds, that is.
PlayStation Move 'shooting attachment' is groovy

Sony's pre-E3 press conference may have had an appearance by Kevin Butler, but it didn't offer a glimpse at the far-out "shooting attachment" (a.k.a. gun shell) for its fast-approaching PlayStation Move magic wand motion controller. Sure to be great for lightgun-style games such as the just announced Time Crisis: Razing Storm, the shell snaps onto the Move controller, giving it a trigger and a distinct likeness to the sci-fi blaster wielded by the star of Earthworm Jim.

It's all just part of the culture of arrogance surrounding their company. They had to lose it for a few years because it bit them in the ass, but here it is again, plain as day.

As awesome as this MAY be, I need to know....Does the move actually support Point and Shoot, or dragging an aiming reticle around ala the Wii?

The Wii-mote works by seeing the sensor bar, so if the IR sensor on your Wii-mote is at an off-angle, it doesn't know where you are. The PSMove works by the PSEye seeing the Orb, so it should at the very least not be totally ignorant when you aren't pointing the thing directly at a sensing device.

That actually looks kind of neat. It's interesting to see them use such a funky retro design in an official product.

They rightfully believed it was a load of crap. But the fact that nintendo sold a bajillion systems is difficult to argue with a lot more than their perception of motion controls as a gimick. Just like 3D is a gimick, in fact it was a tired and crappy gimick byy the time Nintendo stopped using it on the NES and Sega stopped using it on the master system. They stopped selling systems and they werent worth the effort, but if the TVs and Movies and games sell THIS time You can guarantee Nintendo and MS will be quick to jump on the wagon again.
Hell Nintendo already started revisiting 3D again with the 3DS, Do you think that's because they did it once before and thought it'd be great to bring back? NO it's because Avatar made a bajillion of it's own dollars with 3D. If it hadn't Nintendo wouldnt have given a damn.

They're the first to do stereoscopic 3D videogames on a home console with the help of 3D televisions.
They ACTED like nobody has ever done 3D before. In the history of the entire universe. Ever.
And you may be correct about the Kinect statement, BreakingPoint0 - but the fact remains they've mocked the hell out of everything that they are now doing themselves. I find it amazing that they have the guts to pretend like they loved the idea of motion gaming all along.

I'm sorry, but unless it has the slider that moves everytime you shoot.... time crisis won't be near as fun.

@(Unverified) It's a 10-20 dollar plastic shell, unlikely it would have a specific function like that but the controller itself has vibration.
Even then though I wouldnt be surprised to see a dozen more shells that look more like guns and perhaps even have slides.

Ha. Looks a little weird but I'm sure Nyko will make a better attachment just like they did for the Wii.

now everyone can join in on the shitty peripheral war. Kinect will even have you wearing them, since 'you are the controller' or whatever.
