So no impression whatsoever?

Are you sure you didn't just watch a video?

@zochmenos It was a guided demo where a rep took us through features and showed off the game. As I said in the preview, I'm going to try and get my hands on it tomorrow. Today I was just too busy to get to it.

Psst, in the article, you put "protagonist" when you meant "antagonist". Also, that's a spoiler. :P

I realize E3 tosses a lot of games at you guys but I would think "guided demo" would have made it into your write-up rather than the comment stream.

Awesome, I'm looking forward to this. This and Goldeneye will satisfy me as a huge FPS player.

The game looks pretty impressive.

Man, if it wasn't you it was going to be me. By the second usage of 'derek' my brain tried to escape my skull. Heh.

No, it isn't . Completing the first game will tell you why it isn't a spoiler.

I agree completely. It's like watching a fat guy jumping rope.

Good to see they're still supporting VC with N64 releases. I wonder how I missed this one back in the day.

... Wait, what?

Good to see you're still posting freaking awesome self portraits as your avatar here on Joystiq for us all to revel in your endless expressions of douchebaggery.

...Wait.

Nope that's right.

Because I made a smart-assed comment about the ugly game you guys are in love with? Yeah, I guess. Hey, hopefully this one will actually at least be moderately functional and fun to play so you kids will have a reason to defend it so much.

...

.. Okay that one was admittedly trollish.

LOL is the protagonist really named John Adams? They couldn't be more generic if they tried.

@Uncontrol

That was the vibe of the original game, pretty much National Treasure meets some sort of alien conspiracy

Because you don't get smart-assed replies.

And because N64 jokes are old.

Yeah, never mind all of that hype around The Conduit which turned out to be completely overblown. We've got all new hype for Conduit 2 which we promise will be 100% correct this time. Needless to say, there are probably not going to be a lot of people standing in line for this one. And it's going to be all our fault as gamers for not liking "hardcore" games on the Wii.

The Conduit was my biggest disappointment last year. Saying it didn't live up to expectations is such a gross understatement it isn't even funny. Here's hoping they do things right this time, but I'm not holding my breath.
