Oh crap, I thought it was Epic Yam until you mentioned that.

So Kirby is not going on an adventure to find a yam of epic proportions.

It was Cody who gave the tinly veiled reference not me. Point being, fun games haven't went anywhere so there is nowhere to bring them back to.

@Temidien I thought Paper Mario was announced for the 3DS? Although I'd echo your comment with regard to the Wii; I really miss the classic Mario RPG games.

@DonaldMick Angry Kirby was the very second image that was put up on the big screens during the keynote, before he even started showing shots from this game specifically. so yes, it is now canon.

My wife saw the trailer for this and got way too excited. She loves Kirby...

I played it cool and was all, "yeah I'll pick that one up for you when it comes out." I never told her that I was going to be getting it whether she wanted it or not.

I can already see myself playing this game with a big smile on my face.

If you mean "don't count it as a platformer", then fair enough, but if you mean "don't count it at all, it doesn't exist", then me and the hundreds of hours put into City Trial mode would like to have a chat with you >:(

You know, if there's something I'd never, ever expect out of any conference involving anything, it's that two products from said conference both take two of the cutest mascots available and then slap "epic" into the title.

@Mr Khan; I think both Epic Yarn and DKC Returns combined more than make up for the lack of Zelda this fall, especially if it gives the Zelda team enough time to iron out any of the control issues. They both look truly fantastic.

The game looks awesome. No doubt this is the second best looking Wii game along side Wario Shake It. However, it's probably the worst name for a Wii game ... Epic Yarn? Seriously? Just after the reveal of Epic Mickey you come out with a trailer for Epic Yarn? Whoever came up with that subtitle for this Kirby game should be slapped a million times over. This game was probably the best in show of E3 for me but the name is devoid of any creativity.

This is apparently made by the same people as Shake It, too. Good Feel

Just so you know when I said "second best looking" I was specifically talking about the graphics. However, it also applies to the game itself. Don't speak bad of Shake It or I might have to slap you. Wario Shake It doesn't get enough love on the web.
