Very hyped about this game. I like that it looks more like it's based on the comic than the movie (although I am also excited for the movie).

I'm thoroughly excited for this game, but I still can't get over the lack of online play for it. This is Ubisoft, there's no real reason why they can't add online to the game when they have the means to do so.

Still, day one purchase regardless of online or not.

if this confirmed 100% that there is no online play for it what so ever? if so, i think thats a deal breaker for me.

It's downright shameful that there's no online for this, but otherwise this should be off of every kind of hook imaginable. Can't wait for the xbox version...

Agreed. I love Castle Crashers, and playing SP is pretty fun, but playing online with 3 other friends is unmatched.

I believe it was said in a recent issue of Game Informer that the game lacks online. The game's only a few months away, so that's probably pretty final.

I just read the first 2 graphic novels yesterday, getting the next 4 soon (when the last one comes out) to prepare me for this game and movie.

Too bad we can't preorder PSN downloadable games or I'd have this already paid off.

Two things:

1) How's the graphic novel series, everyone? Good stuff? Worth looking into?

2) There is seriously only local co-op? Like, really? Like, really-really?

The graphic novel is pretty good, the last one is coming out July 10th I believe. If you're interested in the game, you might as well read the comic as well. Not so sure of the movie though...

1) The graphic novels are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I haven't seen one person read them and not like them.
2) I don't think anything's been confirmed yet, but it seems like everyone's pretty convinced it's only local co-op.

The series is enjoyable, though Scott is not always an enjoyable character. Over the course of the last couple of volumes, my tolerance for his antics went from "LOL, OH SCOTT" to outright facepalms. Could've been my frame of mind when I read it, but another of my friends has had similar reactions.

Still, overall enjoyable and worth your time. I like the art style and over-the-top, unexplained ridiculousity. I have the last volume preordered and am not holding my breath about the movie.

I have to say that the fact this has anything to do with Scott Pilgrim is pretty much beside the point for me since Paul Robertson and the crew at Mecha Fetus are working on it. From the style of the presentation it looks like Ubisoft gave them full rein. (well, to a modest extent in comparison to their other work)

Red curtains select screen and "door marked 'Sub-space'" = Super Mario bros. 2 influence, amongst others. Awesome.

Paul Robertson's art style is awesome; I'm glad he's been able to put his talent to an actual commercial video game (though if he has already done so in the past, I guess I'm oblivious to it). If you haven't seen his other stuff, check this animation he did out--you can see why it almost screams 'let me make an actual video game pls' --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSdoDjcI5VE

If you're the type of person to replay Double Dragon occasionally you're probably aware that it was delisted from XBLA.

This movie is quite literally the best thing to ever happen to flicks and games. Ever.

Shit I can't wait to see it again.
