Awww yeah! I loved the first game to death and beyond. I'm glad the game's coming out and that Atlus will be involved.

The thing I'm hoping for the most is more variety in the enemies.

yeah it was an amazing game i really enjoyed the puzzles and it was just fun to play this should be just as good with co op. And you are right the enemies are a bit repetitive but i dont think it was that big of a deal.

I don't see how they're gonna ad co-op to Trine, but I'm down!

@Yezzir1128

The first Trine had co-op, and made the game a blast. The single player experience pales in comparison if you ask me.

@Yezzir1128

The first game had local co-op. The game was actually much more difficult that way because you always had to get two or three characters past every obstacle rather than just one.

Awesome.

Love the first one. Love using the Thief. Range weapons, ftw!

When I first started playing it, I found it incredibly difficult to actually kill things with the arrows. Until I realized you could run around whilst charging them, and then started having a lot more fun >.>

No need for online multiplayer the first game was awesome I don't think I need some person online coming into my game and ruining that. But whatever I shall simply ignore the feature and play my single player like I always do.

The game is better in co-op. And why would someone else necessarily ruin the game? You could always invite a friend.

Almost stopped the video when I saw "Atlus". But I have to admit, never having played the first, this one looks pretty damn awesome. Almost like what I would imagine a "Lord of the Rings" side scroller to be like.

Whoa! Where was I when the first game came out?! Oh yea ... on a 360, haha.

Sequel looks sweet, can't wait. Any chance of 3 player couch co-op? *crosses fingers*

Absolutely loved the game... but Frostbyte is a whole 'nother story. Here's hoping half the things promised in Trine 2 don't end up getting pushed back till a Trine 3 (XBLA release, 2-3 player online co-op, DLC only for PC).

Either way, I can't wait. I still play this time to time, love the art direction/design, the story/narration and characters, the puzzles, and the gameplay, of course - 2D shall never die.

Hell yeah! Loved Trine and will most definitely play Trine 2 single player. The whole of the game was switching to the appropriate character for the task.

The first looked nice of course, and I enjoyed the gameplay but lacked something... oh that's right, co-op! Can't wait.
