It's E3, which means it's time for the traditional and sleepy special edition of the Xbox 360 Fancast. Listen as we marvel over Comic Jumper, Gears of War 3, Brink and more. Oh, and some off-topic 3DS love. In addition, stay tuned after the episode for an entire second episode, which encountered technical difficulties earlier this week. i was expecting more regular E3 podcasts from both crews and was very disappointed no daily wrapups were posted..

i assume it was mostly futurestiq related but it was still a downer.. had to rely on backup podcasts for daily coverage.. not cool

As much as I like the new fancast logo. I miss the cartoon fancasters :(

As a lifelong JPAGer, I confess this will be the first time listening to the fancast, so consider yourselves my entertainment during my Monday workout.

The Cirque Du Solei performance really was pretty trippy - the ceiling walking caught me by surprise. Saw it on MTV, sorry you guys had to wait around for an hour.

I wonder if the celebrities had to wait an hour, or if their limos pulled up and they walked in VIP with only 5 minute wait inside.

I seem to have got a tottally different show on iTunes to the one in the MP3, i only realised when xander said on twitter that Xav was leaving and i had no idea so came back to check what happened and read the post about there being two epsiodes.

Im also getting like 4 different feeds on iTunes for joystiq.

Anyone else having these problems or am i going crazy?

PS. Xav it sucks that youre leaving, gonna miss ya on the show dude :(

Though you do not know it, I have had a love-hate relationship with you. In the beginning, you were the X factor; you were unruly and frequently verbally violent. However, you've changed drastically, and for the better. No offense to the other folks on the podcast, but you have become my favorite X3F personality - your humor and wit is spot-on, your commentary is thought-provoking, and you're Canadian.

You will be sorely missed.

Been listening since '07 and now i think im going to stop. what happened to you guys. first Dustin left and now Xav wth?! and you guys change your logo to and everything not the same anymore. you guys changed went from caring for the community to caring about your jobs.

@ZombieHustler They changed their logo because they're owned and run by other people. They just report the "news" and hope they do a good enough job that their parent company, AOL doesn't ruin them like they've done to others.

We've been owned by AOL from the very beginning, ownership of our podcast has never changed hands. Joystiq has evolved several times over the last few years and we've evolved with it. What was Xbox 360 Fanboy became Joystiq Xbox and now we're all just Joystiq. We've changed our logo several times too. When you work on the internet it's just part of the business.

Was a cool podcast but listening to you guys talk about Dead Rising made me cry. Dead Rising is not meant to be played in 1 playthrough. Achievements surely courage that, but this "issue" of the save system was address years ago. It's MADE for multiple playthroughs to do different things each time.

Just to let Alexander know that ESPN does broadcast Premier League (the top football/soccer league in the UK) on UK TV but I'm not sure whether this is considered a separate channel akin to the way MTV is split.

Not sure if this is the same for everyone but my itunes feed only gives me the second part of the show so I had to download the episode directly to hear both parts.

@(Unverified) iTunes feed only gave me the FIRST part of the show. I'm assuming Xav's announcement was in the second half... Very, very bummed to see Xav leave the podcast and only staying on in editorial. I will keep listening to you on The Freelancers!

There certainly has been a Series of messups on the iTunes feed as of late -- so much so that at one point it disappeared entirely for me. I didn't get the second half of this show either - so I've had to download it directly. Alexander's tweet caught me by surprise about Xav, but I do wish him the best of luck with everything. Just sucks that we have all gotten to enjoy the dark humour and bluntness that he provides, along with providing the much needed Canadianism to the show :)

It's a shame but if it's time to move on then fair play. You will be missed Xav and yeah I hate those idiots who spell your name wrong too, also the people who call Alexander Andrew!

xav is leaving? maybe my itunes was messed up but i did not get the second show after the outro music, it just played that song twice, i didn't hear that part. dang!
