According to the master list, Hunter: The Reckoning is BC on 360, and there's no reason to suspect the Gamecube version won't work on a Wii (since it's two Gamecubes duct taped together).

You were really in high school in 2002?

Damn I feel old.

I like the guy's jaw bandanna. Now on the game side, it reminds me of another game i used to play in the arcades, and i love these co-op funnies, so color me excited.

@TheDread; Reminds me of Gauntlet Legends, that game is still the bee's knees.

Griffin's description of the gameplay made me think of the original Gauntlet immediately.

See, that's what I'm freaking talking about.

The game it should remind you of is the original Gauntlet, or Gauntlet II, or Robotron! Gauntlet Legends.

All spring chickens 'round here these days.

Get off my lawn!

Wasn't this game announced as a Wii FPS similar to Left 4 Dead? Weird to see it a a top-down game now.

That title, at first glance, sounded VERY sexual.

So... you are saying I can turn into a man-bear-pig? AWESOME

Grif, thank you for invoking Hunter. I'm now awash in fond, gore-soaked memories.

This game is also going on the get-list.

Is there going to be a preview of the Wii version? I want to know how that's coming along so I can decide if I should put it back on my to-watch list.

@chuckrich81

I haven't heard anything about it, actually, aside from the confirmation that it still existed as an FPS

It's a first-person-Wii-game-turned-overhead-3PS-a-la-Smash-TV? Such a drastic change doesn't bode well for the polish of the overall product, methinks...

this game looks like garbage, another top down shooter with the left stick as movement and the right stick as shooting, we already have 2 top down zombie style shooters and Dead Nation coming as well. The Wii version of this looks great though.

@(Unverified) oh ffs - does it work if I hit a top-level post? - if it does, then the above comment was supposed to be in reply to MrKhan. If it doesn't then well, some comment somewhere on this comment page was probably supposed to be in reply to MrKhan. I expect. And it probably has no relation to where this one ended up.

So, confirmation that - if it still exists - it's of no interest to anyone, then? Whereas this game looks kind of awesome. Also kind of ironic that the graphical style looks like it would work pretty well on low-powered hardware such as, um, yeah.

About the original article, grammar pedant comment: 'you're teammates'.

You had me at top-down hack&slash, especially multiplayer. I'm a sucker for top down multiplayer games. They just don't seem to be that common anymore. Loved XMen Legends 1&2, MUA 1 & 2, Lord of the Rings:RotK. I would rather this game was a XBLA/PSN game than a full disc. Would make it cheaper and easier to buy multiple copies to play with friends and family online.
