Wasn't there Kinect bundles announce with the new 360 at E3? Sure the wasn't a price, but I thought it was announced that it was coming this fall during the show. Or was that just hearsay?

BINGO!!!

I lied. Sorry. Out of the Big 3, I really believe MS' showing was the weakest. It sucks that they're putting so much focus on aping the Wii. I know Sony's doing the same thing and I think it's the dumbest thing in the world. Don't they realize the position that Nintendo put themselves in? Don't they see that the Wii is continuing to lose 3rd party support? I think if both MS and Sony want to stay profitable, they need to stay as far away from the casual market as possible. Why? Because it's CASUAL! These are people have the attention span of a gnat with ADD. These are the people who watch Jersey Shores and call it art! These are the people who listen to Ke$ha and think she has talent! Stop the madness!!

Yeah all those casual gamers sure arent buying anymore wiis or video games, boy howdy.

microsofts biggest blunder with kinect is its software is almost identical to what the Wii has been delivering to that casual audience for a while. Casual peeps aint gonna be enticed enough, especially with whatever price it is.

AND BY THE WAY JERSEY SHORE IS ART! BOOOO YAAAHH

You say this as if many people who play CoD, Gears, and Halo online all the time aren't ADD riddled low-attention span brats with rotten attitudes, that watch Family Guy and listen to nu-metal bands all day.

Or that many people who play WoW, and Final Fantasy all the time aren't socially broken losers who watch Buffy and listen to J-pop all day. This can run and run...

Businesses don't care how cool their market is, as long as they are willing to spend money. I will agree that it's not such a great move to develop all this "casual" tech, because I think that audience bought a wii for the low price entry, and are probably bored of games by now. Not because they are too stupid, but because they feel they have other things in their lives (like families, jobs, and goals) that are more worthy of their time.

Yeah, the dopey motion stuff ate up a lot of stage time for the HD consoles this year, but let's not suddenly act like Bayonetta is some kind of fantastic work of art that non-gamers are too stupid to enjoy.

The thing is Sony, MS, and Nintendo don't make their money off of third party games. And aside from Nintendo they don't a lot of big first/second party franchises. They make their money on the hardware. In previous generations the way to sell hardware was to have the most exclusive big games. But Nintendo's found the key to selling massive tons of hardware regardless of the game library. MS and Sony can't help but try and get a piece of that action.

Aping the Wii? Really?

How is Kinect aping the Wii? Move is aping the Wii. Kinect is something completely different.

Ubisoft's exercise game looked interesting. You actually have to move your whole body. The dance central game actually looked fun too. Developers can do some amazing stuff that they won't be able to do on any other systems.

So, even though the Dreamcast prediction was revealed BEFORE E3, it still technically counts as an "E3 reveal?"

I think an XBox Live price drop would've won the show for Microsoft. That's just me being cheap of course.

Milo was shown to VIPs behind doors... that doesn't count.

Xbox execs seem to be hinting that not everything was shown at E3 and are being saved for GamesCon and TGS. So, just change the bingo title and you can continue. :-D

Oh so close to getting bingo. It's funny how it says have a free one on us for the freespace, and then they gave out free Xbox's.

Why does Rockband 3 get a square? It's multiplatform it should be on every bingo card. I can understand the SquareEnix square because they can be a little spotty with multiplatform support but Rockband?

@PN04

they were expecting it to get shown off at the presser. which it didn't, but it did get shown off during E3 like the article says. so they counted it anyways.

when i see "sorry indie," I think of indie games getting the shaft at E3 by Microsoft. Did MS not shaft them? Because i've read that indie games felt the shaft by MS at E3

The new 360 looks kind of like some PC mod, but the look of the new 360 in the bingo square is just atrocious!!!
