yea i'm hoping. i need a new PSP and have been holding off for a while now since i figured it was about time for a PSP2. maybe TGS will be it......when is TGS anyway? is it the one at the end of August?

Could have also won if there was an MMO push... or had corners if Agent was teased. Kevin Butler being there is worth all the stuff they DIDN'T announce though, IMHO.

I both liked and hated Sony's presser. They had some good content to show, but they spend the time (again) being childish and b*tchy. I fell like in the last few years, if they're not be super arrogant, they're being whiny.
I think Nintendo did pretty well this year, but hopefully all the spost missing on the big 3 bing cards will come true at either GamesCon or TGS.

@majg I don't know why Sony can't just talk about the pros of their system without taking pot-shots at the competition. They *opened* with it, from Butler's "pew pew pew" bit from the commercial and Tretton's jab at the white ponchos, and they never let up.
When they had the video clip about the Move, with the developers talking about what they were able to do with it and the tech involved, that's what I *wanted* to hear... and then they intercut it with more of Butler's fanboy clips. Suddenly, I was a lot less interested.

The only real thing that I hated from the whole the introduction if Marcus, I actually find myself hating those commercials instead of wanting buy a PSP.

Lol sadly that is true, but after spending $250 on the hardware, and another couple hundred on downloadable games that I can't re-sell, I am tempted to, but would rather not, throw it all away for one of those oh-so-sexy Peace Walker bundles.

Oh ya, I know that, it's just that since I already own all of the games on the market that I want, getting a PSP-3000 would be pointless, since it would just function, for me, as a glorified go.

We know the details, but Sony hasn't officially announced it.
I saw in an interview with GTTV, Jack Tretton said it wasn't part of PSN+ yet.

if Sony knows what's good for them (they don't always), they will have a PSP2 ready to show off, so as to compete with the 3DS.

I think it was a good showing for Sony. I was hyped after the conference ended. Portal 2, exclusive content, and Twisted Metal did it for me.
I have to admit though, I really wanted more core titles announced and less Move shown but PS Move looks really cool to me. Sorcery was cool, Tiger 11 is gonna be fun w/ the fam and The Fight, Time Crisis, Socom 4 and Killzone 3 are gonna be must for me when I get Move. I just hope they either fix their current starter bundle or make different bundles all together.

@itsjose The only way I could see that NOT counting is if joystiq specifically means a new Ready At Dawn game revealed that we weren't already aware of before hand. Seeing as how Ghost of Sparta was announced on the Playstation Blog, that might have been enough to sort of 'disqualify' it.

@Brinstar I agree, but I wonder if Sony will continue their "look at me" streak and continue announcing big titles in the weeks after E3, kind of like how they announced LittleBigPlanet 2, Killzone 3, and inFamous 2 all before E3, and thus had everybody talking about them before the show proper.
