"So you're not considering putting out other things people can purchase with their Realtime Worlds points on, other than just game time?

We're definitely open to providing more services to our players, but there's nothing at the moment. "

You should talk to the devs behind Bad Company 2. They found out people will pay to unlock weapons that they could've unlocked in just 20 hours of play time.

I bought this game. And strangely enough, I'm looking forward to their payment model. Buying 20 hours (with a timer that only runs in action districts) means that I could stretch 7 bucks for a couple months depending on the time I have to play. Then When that timer runs out I can opt to continue, or just pay when I'm ready. Or maybe even stay in the social district and try to create stuff that people would want to buy and pay for the game that way.

The only thing I'm worried about from beta is the game becoming stale and repetitive really fast.

I'm definitely looking forward to this game, I don't think it's 100% right now but it's got huge potential. I DL'ed it for the KttC event, and once it was finally done downloading it was about midnight and I had to work the next morning. I wanted to check it out still, so I quickly created a character and popped in to check things out. 3 hours later, still not having made it around to all of the editors you can use, I decided to take a sick day.

Also incredibly exciting for me, I'm actually in the game :) If you're in the game and want to check out our band, our track "Terrorize" by Moses Cleveland made it into their artist program.

No offense but that was a pretty weak interview. The video interview on ZAMofficial's youtube asked questions about whats up with hitboxes, district expansion, solo vs multiplayer experience, etc.. you know.. the issues that people actually give a crap about.

Maybe it's me, but my friend and I downloaded this for the keys to the city, and the controls felt really sloppy compared to other FPS games we had played (Source engine games, Unreal Tournament games, etc).

Ther other thing was how weak my gun seemed, but nothing in the UI indicated what kind of improvements buying a new weapon actually provided.

It's just a very poor game. The beta testers know it, the community reps know it.

It's actually quite sad watching them try to justify it's faults and defend the product when they know they've failed to reach any of their goals.
