@Funkmaster General I agree with the anti vanille movement. Hope was whiney, but I didn't mind him. But vanille? God, I wanted to break her face. I kept her only because she was living fan service.

I found myself sexually attracted to Vanille, but her voice was horrible.
Hope was whiny.But it was the typical, young kid coming of age story. He ended up being ok, towards the end.

Except for the iPhone not being powerful enough as their phones and having a different OS and smaller userbase than the DS... Yes, excellent point.
iPhone is a nifty gadget, but it a horribly underpowered phone compared to anything Japan has.

Agreed. FF XII is so underrated, the characters and the voice acting was top notch. Sure, the story was a bit dull, but I really liked the perspective, it's almost as the "main" character (Vaan) was a side character and you were witnessing the story through his eyes. I dunno, I just really liked it.

Yes, there was problems with FF XIII but it was by no means a bad game. It was obviously a well realized and polished game. Go crawl back under your cave.

Hope was one of the best characters in FFXIII. He had the most character development out of any of the characters as well as the best voice acting.

I mean, he's just a kid and his mom died right in front of his eyes. At least he's entitled to his angst, unlike someone like Squall or Cloud?
He grew up pretty quickly and you could really see him change as the game progressed

At least hope had some character to him, and a little bit of development before reverting back to a *****. i can't recall one character in FFXIII that was in the least bit likable except for maybe Fang.

Actually the only reason I really dislike Vanille is her stupid accent. Sometimes it sounds Australian, sometimes it sounds like she just can't pronounce some letters correctly, and most of the time sounds like she's just making it up as she goes along. If it was consistent with a true dialect then I wouldn't have a problem.
